So I was looking for a good domain to use on my porn re-uploading journey which I will start soon and accidentally found some aged domains in my niche, ages :
    16 years
    11 years
10 years (this has about 53k backlinks)
    9 years

I'm a total newbie in SEO so anyone can tell me if these are worth anything now ?

If it expires, it loses its age.
And the one with 50k backlinks is probably spammed

Expired domains is a whole branch of building a website. There are many factors to take in account. Age itself doesn't mean much.

Check out the history, the types of links to the site.

Age is helpful, but only if the domains are clean.

For baklink structure, I use a paid version of Majestic, but if you look around, I'm sure you can find some free tools.

    check out following:
PA / DA , TF / CF , SPAM score... but i guess 50k links is an indication of spam.

Web Archive to check the past history and i preferred to use Majestic for back links. Majestic is a paid option. Using free tools you will not get enough information.

Getting an expired is the best choice, before that look for site metrics and the sites should have quality back links which is relevant to your niche.Use quality content relevant to your niche.

I used raven and seo spyglass to find some extra information about the domains and links. Thanks to everyone who replied!

Definitely required to check the history... aaaand to crash the party... age doesn't matter.

I haven't seen one proof, that the time when the domain was registered first matters. What matters is the age of the CONTENT on the domain, not the age of the domain itself. That's pointless and has no visible benefit.

You should be careful in buying expire domains.
Check the history, SERP standing (if was banned from google or not) as well as it's backlinks. Good luck!
