I am using OVH with reverse proxy, works fine.
Can you please explain this a bit more how you did this? I'm currently hosting two servers. One at vultr and one at off-server servers. But problem is off-shore servers are seems to going to dissappear now. So i'm like kinda hopeless atm.

OVH is not offshore, you can use it to save money, but you will need to do a Reverse Proxy to hide OVH IP.
Using OVH as reverse proxy, is good for Anti-DDoS purposes, not for offshore. Mainly OVH can shutdown you, in any time.

If you asking me, but I see a thousands of pirated websites hosted in OVH, that is nearly true, but is also true they will shutdown and give any information when they receive pression and abuses or court order.
OVH doesn't care about Piracy, when they don't have any law envolved, when have law or corporations envolved they will act.
So I'm saying you can use OVH? Yes, you can. If you get bigger, you will be in trouble.

OVH never asked for Identity card, probably when you buy from US/UK or US server or something. I have used them several times.
The answer for your question is quite simple: Resellers
Yes is risky, but if your website isn't bigger enough to get attraction from big companies and anti-piracy groups, it will be fine. Unless your website content is highly illegal or in your country you are the only doing that.
That is different scenarious. That you need to analyze.
They bought from Resellers, but I have used Cloud VPS and OVH never asked for ID (for me)
