Great post OP screw what these "goodie goddies" say. If they were so holy why are they on BHW??? Black hat means breaking the rules! The funny part is your not even breaking them. I used to think that if you just work hard good things will come. Bam 10 years later working a Mcjob wondering what went wrong. Well F that. The only people who win the game are the people who realize its a game and play as such. Anywway thx for this method I would of never thought of.

For those in the UK, my guess is that you'll want to start looking up the in's and out's of filing ICO complaints.
OP is not breaking the law. It's the other way around: the companies that are calling him are the ones breaking the law. As long as he's paying taxes on the revenue, there is no issue.
I know someone who started doing this about a month ago. He's lucky enough to have a lawyer for a friend, so he just collects the info and sends it along to his friend. I'd do the same, but I never get telemarketing calls.
To the people who have somehow concluded that the OP is the one doing something wrong, you need to get your lenses fixed. If I start sending a ton of non-compliant emails and get caught, I'm in a ton of trouble. Why should a telemarketing company, or even a single cold-caller, get a free pass? The burden is on us, the bulk-[mailers|telemarketers|SMSer], to either play by the rules or not get caught or be prepared to deal with the consequences.

Telemarketing is like the lowest level of real life comment spam! Get those bastards!

On the other hand he is doing the company a service. He is pointing out a flaw in their system that they could easily patch up by training their employees or actively using there don't call list.
I also do not recommend cold calling if you don't know what laws may be around it. I am also sure it would take a real sociopath to punch a small business cold calling in the throat like that.

if you write "how to get telemarket" from u.s you will be able to see the complete sentence means billions of people already searched for this thing and the amount of people interested to know "how to stop telemarketers" and "how to get telemarketers to call me" is almost the same. if it that easy and simple everybody doing it
yes it is possible and it is done by many but it's almost impossible in 2015.. the law is not that simple take your time and go deep in it and you'll come to know why

I stopped reading the moment you said small claims court. The only time I ever go to small claims court is when I do graphic design work for a client and the client refuses to pay me when the work is done. I'm telling you this right now small claims court is a nightmare at times and I absolutely hate having to go there unless I need to. Plus the courthouse fees I have to pay each time I sue someone is not some thing I like having to pay. I have clients fight me tooth and nail to avoid paying me for work I spent weeks on sometimes a few months on. When a telemarker calls it's always an answering machine never a live human. After about 5-10 minutes I've hung up the phone. Now I'm basically on auto pilot whenever I hear the automated machine I just hang up right away. When I started thinking about making extra money I was not anticipating to get the court house involved and that I'd have to blow up my phone bill by using all my families family share plan minutes because I gotta say I'm not paying for anyone else's minutes but my own. So while it's great that you posted this and I'm sure some people won't mind it I'll have to pass.
OP is spot on about using the TCPA to make money. It takes time and effort and is work. Some people sue as lead Plaintiff's in class actions. Some sue in Federal. Some write letters and attach draft complaints. I know a filed TCPA case tends to get settled in the low 5 figure amounts. I have seen some go to trial and get over 6 figures awarded and 7. This has huge money making potential for those so inclined.

Nah, just a "concerned citizen" like yourself. I prefer to sue instead of pre-suit settlement negotiations, but everyone has a strategy. I probably get higher settlements, but it takes a bit more time. Typically 3-6 months, but sometimes a year or more.
Just one thing I have seen appeals courts reject is stacking multiple violations. The most I have seen is 3k per call for a violation of 47 USC 227(b) and 47 USC 227(c)(5) through 47 CFR 64.1200(d) that you mentioned. For example, it is a violation to make an automated call to a cell phone and a violation to use a pre-recorded message, but you can only have one recovery under 47 USC 227(b) for a max of 1500.
