Offline Marketing Method

Hey guys, first post here, so I apologize in advanced if I have done anything wrong.

I have been a lurker for about a year now, and never took action. I work a part time job that pays fairly well, but I decided to take action when I met my girlfriend in late December. Unfortunately, she lives in another country, and I really need to generate passive income if I wish to see her as much as I want. I would like to post the method that I have thought up today, and would greatly appreciate feedback, and maybe we can think up new twists.

PLANNED METHOD:

1. Find a niche that you personally know a lot about. I decided to go with the main niche in health. My sub niche would be strength training, with a focus on gaining lean muscle. I found a product with click bank that I personally would have purchased; something that didn't come off as garbage the second I looked at it. The product has to be something that wouldn't ruin your credibility.
2. Find someone to outsource your promotion with someone who can sell it well. Basically what I plan on doing is finding a personal trainer that is fit looking in my eyes, and also charismatic. I will promise him a certain commission if he is able to convert his clients by putting a good word in for the product.
3. I plan on paying the people I outsource with well; if they make good money, they'll be happy and even more willing to push products to their clients. I was thinking 40-50% commission.
4. Obviously the next step is to scale it up by hiring more personal trainers. I will be using their names as tracking ids in order to ease the process of paying them the correct amount.

Why would a personal trainer sell a product to compete with their own service for only a couple of bucks? They can make better money per hour keeping somebody as their client.

...and why wouldn't the personal trainers simply promote the product directly (using their own affiliate ids) for full commissions, rather than use your affilaite id for only part of the commission?

Find products to sell, do keyword research for those products finding long tail keywords with low competition and decent volume. Write 800+ words articles every other day optimized with those keywords and add in affiliate links where appropriate. Start making sales in a month or so. Keep the site or flip it. Do it over and over
