Ok, this is the craziest shit you've ever heard.... but listen close... IT WORKS!!!

My wife works at our apartment complex, and every once in a while, pizza places will bring up 2 or 3 pizzas just to say "hey, we're here, tell people about us"....

SO, they bring these amazing pizzas, and then leave...

WELL... TODAY, I was up at the clubhouse (where she works), and the pizza guy from Marco's pizza came up with 3 pizzas and breadstix....

SO ME... being the smart ass that I am, said to the delivery guy:

"hey bro, i'll throw you $10.00 if you hand these flyers out with your next few deliveries", and he said "HELL YEA!"...

SO, I printed off about 15 flyers (promoting my site), handed them to him, and he was on his way....

WELL, I don't usually get too many active US referrals each day... and today i've gotten 7 !!!.... SO, I called up to Marco's Pizza, asked to speak to the manager, and when he came on, I told him that i'd pay him to have his delivery guys hand out flyers with the pizzas...

He said "don't pay me, pay them".... so I decided to go up there, gave all the delivery guys $5 a piece , (there was 4 of them), and gave them about 50 flyers to hand out....

I'm thinking this is gonna be an awesome new way to advertise offline!!!... Like maybe have the wife dress up in something cute and go up to all the pizza delivery places, chinese delivery places.... and ask them if they'll hand out these flyers!!! :P

I'm just in shock right now!?!?..... Like WTF?!...

Hopefully it blows up!! :D

you just out smarted the game haha nice job

I have a friend that owns a delivery fast food.. I printed stickers and put them to his boxes :P it is a good and cheap advertising method.. and if the food is good people will go and check the site because they will think it's a good thing as well I guess..

Yep this has gone on for years, and specifically speaking, pizza places and other delivery joints like wings express are a large part of my local advertising campaigns for certain programs.

The only difference for me from what you said, is that I've never had an owner ask me to pay the delivery guys, im always paying the owners.

They staple my flyers on the pizza boxes or carry out bags with their menus. Generally I pay a few cents each.

Some offers fucking kill it with this, but if you want to learn how you'll have to join DIM to see my offline CPA advertising videos coming this month, hahahahahahahah.

Well ok, i'll give you a couple easy ones. Diet trials are doing pretty well for me now, and believe it or not, education offers are doing great. I guess pizza and online colleges go well together :)

I imagine it will considering after the person eats the entire pizza the person will feel like crap and that they are over-weight so they decide to go on a diet. Just a thought.

Uhhh yeah, when are the three best times to sell someone a diet product?

1. New Years
2. People getting married/attending a class reunion
3. When they feel like a disgusting fat slob after eating a pizza they know they shouldn't have.

:) Welcome to marketing 101, class dismissed.

You think this would work for adult sites? The "Piece A Box" .com

Why not vandalize on grocery store items for Pete's sake? :p
Ups to the OP, that's what I call creativity.

Just curious, i've heard "the OP" for a while now, what's it mean??

@superdude22- that's a fucking great idea!!! :D

op= something along the lines of Opening Poster for the thread.

would think with times the way they are, [and maybe the reason they are eating pizza instead of red lobster] work at home/extra money would do well. which is what I assume you are promoting with your sig.

hey thats a great idea...i use to do that when i hosted parties in tallahassee...but we traded free cover and drinks for flyer placcement.... we eventually came up with a whole nother strategy that worked out much better...an it was directly going into apt. complexes an greasing the apt. manager, they dont make that much $$$ an we would directly place flyers into the residents mailbox or just pay a leasing asst to do it..

now that is thinking outside the box - pizza box that is

The customer may be fairly offended when the delivery boy hands them a weight loss flyer right after their large cheese pizza. Heck, they may even be offended enough to buy the product (some "rich jerk" style marketing) :D

an it was directly going into apt. complexes an greasing the apt. manager, they dont make that much $$$ an we would directly place flyers into the residents mailbox or just pay a leasing asst to do it..
Just as an fyi, if your not a mailman, putting anything in someone's mailbox is a federal offense, thats why the people who go house to house with flyers use those door knob flyers rather than putting it in the mail box. Haveing the apt. manager put a packet of flyers/papers on the kitchen counter before a tenant moves in may be quite the gold mine though.

@boosey - Great job thinking outside the box, keep it up and you will go far.

a friend of mine used to pay the guys at the intersections to stick his flyers in the newspapers they where selling to promote his gym... that could still work too :)

congratulations boosey. i never thought of that. and ukescuba, simple but great. hehe.

Well we just moved from Lansing, MI ( a huge college town ) to Canton, MI ( lots of apartment complex's )... and she keeps in contact with all the complex's around the area!!

She's been in Leasing for a while now.... and in Lansing, I know almost every property manager at each individual rental property... so tomorrow i'm gonna call a few up, and maybe make a trip over there to drop a shit ton of flyers off for them to stick in the move-in packets....

People used to put shit in front of my door too... so i'll pry do that, stay at my moms overnight, and work through the next day!!... I'm thinking this could be a goldmine!! all these money hungry college students!!!

In Canton, i'm also 10 minutes from another huge college town (ann arbor), and the U of M is there... so I may just check that out in a week or so!!
