Parents love their children unconditionally but can't match the level i'm with my spouse.

I go with parents, in India we have a great respect on our parents and do follow the methods of parenting.

You should be grateful for whoever you are happy with. If you are trying to decide who is more important for you, then you are a fool. Each person plays a different role in your life. Also, I don't think you will ever have a good relationship if you say that your parents always come first. Oh well, I guess everyone has a different opinion on what a good relationship is. I bet some people here think its alright to have 5 wives and smack them accross the face.

My mother knows that if I have to choose, I'll go after my wife. Let her reproach her. A mother and sisters me. But there's no criticism, you're going in the wrong direction. This is an axiom. If you are not scolded for your actions. So you do not do it. And you do not envy. And envy is the main engine of progress. They envy something good. And many are sorry to part with you. I agree that the love can't be equal. It's like comparing apples to oranges. Or pizza and the internet. It's a different love, but you need both.
 
Parents are important even if they are bad. Without them we are nothing.
Your wife is important if she loves you.

Giving priority to one of them is based on your personal experience.
 
For me if I had to choose it would be my spouse without hesitation. That does not mean I don't love my parents. The older I get the more I love them but I would cut them out of my life in a second if they did or said anything unjust towards my wife. I don't base things on the blood someone has in their veins, I base things on how they act. My parents know full well I would choose her and would not want it any other way. They raised me right. I will protect and support my wife above all else. They know I'm loyal to her but have never done anything and probably never will to test that loyalty and they love her as much as she loves them so hopefully I wont ever have to do that.

It goes, wife, parents, dog, then anyone else.
 
They are incomparable. Parents are the one who made u strong when you were the most vulnerable (1 day old lol). Wife is a totally different person who also deserves love and respect, but u can't compare her with your parents, ever lol.

If your wife is having problem with your parents, try to solve the problem instead of figuring out priorities.
