Im not sure whats wrong with me. All the money i make online, i just pile it all up in my bank account and not spend a penny of it. And the most annoying part is that im not actually saving up for anything, i just look at it everyday like an idiot lol.

The only thing i spend it on is basic necessitates such as my protein shakes and food (and even then i would only buy really cheap stuff). Iv had the same wardrobe clothes for over a year and i dont like spending money on clothes either :( I mean i really like big brand clothes and i can afford it but i just dont want to spend any money.

Its starting to really annoy me, how the fuck do i start spending money for myself!!

Why would you want to spend money? If you do not need/want anything don't just blow them away for things you do not need. Save them and buy a nice car or a house, make some investment/s (I think TSLA might be a good one).

You should withdraw the money from the bank, i like looking at money in person rather than looking at a computer screen.

It's because you are not making enough money. Start making 5-10x your average spend and lets see then. I.e you don't yet feel secure.

I'm kinda similar, but it's definitely not the worst habit you can have and probably quite a good habit!

The only time it really become a hindrance is when you can't bring yourself to invest money back into your business to turn into more money.

One thing I do like to spend my money on though is holidays and travelling to new places. If you've got the money, you definitely should spend it on life experiences that you'd miss out on otherwise. Just force yourself to do it once or twice and you'll have no problems doing it again haha.

When it comes to physical/material things, I won't be spending them until I can afford it without even thinking about it, in the same way I'd buy a chocolate bar now. Even that affects me adversely a bit (ie I only got a smartphone a month ago, don't have a car - both which I know would make my life better)

On the other hand, I always drink tap water at restaurants, don't really buy beers when I go to the pub, normally come home empty handed when I go out to buy clothes but I think this is a good thing as I'd much rather have my money saved, spent on making more money or spent on new/amazing experiences than on little things that make your life marginally more comfortable but ultimately add up a lot.

Just make more money and I'm sure once you're making more, you'll have less qualms spending a little bit!

    obviously your doing something right...
unnecessary expenses have sent the globe into recession.

The money I have under my mattress will be able to get me some beef/chicken/pork meat while the GUCCI jacket in my drawer only gets me moths...

Prioritizing your expenses and deciding whether or not to buy something that's in no way necessary to you is what smart people do.

What's the point in making money if you don't better your life with it? This doesn't mean that you must SPEND IT ALL but come on... You should reward yourself for your hard work and invest the rest of the money (in gold, land, other business ventures and whatnot) and donate to people who don't have money (if you can afford that). Facts:

    - when you die all your money will remain on earth
    - when you die you won't get an achievement or award for hoarding money
    - money can lose it's value overnight (has happened before and will again, prime example: WAR)

Just burn it all, everything burns!

Just kidding, if I was you I'd just keep saving it until I knew what to spend it on.

You're doing really well mate. Don't spend it for spending sake. That's just dumb. I took a financial course from Dave Ramsey with my wife as part of our pre-marital counselling and we learnt how to save up for things and have an emergency fund for things that we don't plan on. We DO plan on buying our first house in CA$H! We DON'T, and will NEVER, have any car payments. We are on a fluctuating monthly budget. It's great. The course is called Financial Peace University and I would recommend it over ANY of the WSO's I've read... Obviously. Ha!

It's not just about saving though. He also teaches about GIVING. And in my opinion that's the best part of being financially responsible. We gave a $100 tip to our waitress who was a single mother in her late 30s. His motto is "live like no one else so that later you can live and GIVE like NO ONE ELSE!"

I WISH his tech team would set up an affiliate program because I could talk about it ALL DAY! Ha ha.

Hmm, nope not true. It really depends on how you manage your finances irrespective of what is largely "the dreamy fantasies" of those that aren't there yet... just trust me on this one ;)

Put it back into your business or other ventures and make it grow even more. If you still find yourself in the same position after much success... tell yourself it's okay to spend your money that you've worked for.

Here's something you can do with your money. Grab a globe and spin it, stab it with your finger while it's spinning and the first place it lands on (spin it again if you land in the ocean ;P) buy a ticket and fly out there.

I know what you mean, but money is there to be used. Try spending it on your friends and family, they will surely appreciate it!

I know people who make a lot and spend it all. You are lucky to have the mindset not to because there is a thing called "taxes".

Also, you are saving for something its called retirement. Are you planning to work when you're 70?
