As you all know the famous torrent website to get free movies and tvshows kickass is down and the owner got arrested which left me asking myself is the owners of streaming websites will get in trouble even if they get'em from third-party servers as i was preparing to make a streaming website . so what do you think guys will i get in trouble even tho i'm outside USA ?

I usually go by this motto when doing something:

"If I have to ask/wonder/ponder if it's illegal, then it probably is."

Therefore, I stay away from it. Just because I see someone else doing it, doesn't mean it's legit. The police might be on their azz, but you just don't know about it yet.

most websites put similar test to this one on their front page
All of the free movies found on this website are hosted on third-party servers that are freely available to watch online for all internet users. Any legal issues regarding the free online movies on this website should be taken up with the actual file hosts themselves, as we're not affiliated with them.
doe's this prevent them from troubles

Rule number one, if people makes money in legal way, you can also do it.
Rule number two, if you make something illegal, they will catch you one day.

Do we know how much KAT made money with his website ?

The U.S. Department of Justice estimates KAT's value to be over $54 million, with annual advertising revenue in the range of $12.5 million to $22.3 million..

i don't think you'll get into trouble unless you become really big and well known - that's when you'll start pissing people off, people that have money and will take action against you ... though just to be sure you might want to find another idea :)

usually they send you a message to make you stop. But if you keep ignoring them then they might catch you one day.

You won't get caught because you are not a big player. Nobody is going to care if you make $10-20k/month with a streaming website. The big Eagle is too occupied catching big gods, not tiny mice. There are 16 year olds that are probably making more than you using copyrighted shit.

Agreed. Especially since your display pic is of Victor Newman lol - literally my favorite person on TV

My personal rule: Unless you make at least $2mil, from illegal stuff in a few years, it's not worth starting.
