Noting worked for me since 5 Yrs from trying

OP what is your skills you learned from past years ? You could sell it , .e.g. if you have keyword research , graphics design...etc skills you could sell it in bhw marketplace and other platforms.... invest some of your sales return in your blogs ... if you have zero skills this is why you can't make money .

In some point I was welling to pay 5K for real authority link , but how could I got any guarantee off it !
Even if you spent 50k there is no any guarantee in any business and especially SEO when most things and products you deal with are virtual and you not have some control over things and Google, but you have minimal risk when you do something correctly.. If you want guaranteed salary you should be a doctor or something

try to do authority links, sidebar links, and home page link from good site, it will boost your ranking

What type of site was it, informal? Ecommerce? Amazon affiliate?
Is your site "better" (i.e. "The Authorithy" in the niche?) compared to your competitors?
I had experience on all type of website (since I was trying to build a small PBN ) even I agree with about site contents , but this is not all matter for G , even on my niche I saw many pages ranked 1st for less then 200 words , while some my main site articles passed 1000 words , and they didn't rank ,
simply because there is other sites have higher Authority then me ranking on tiny contents , I'm 100% sure that my site have better contents better in page SEO better user experience and even faster load speed , but G completely ignore it .
My Advice: If you feel like what your doing ain't working, Start something else and forget about the later but keep it online... In a few months or a year, you'd be amazed by the results.
PS: I created a new site again, Even if it earns $1 a day its still successful... imagine having 30 unsuccessful blogs that earn $1 a day or even $0.5..
The problem with all my site is the niche are very popular and everyone try to compete on it , if I wire any article on targeted KW I'll have at least ~ 300 blog sites web-forums who write about exact same KW ,
Think about it like tourism site , and write about Hawaii vacation tips if my site didn't have any sort of authority G won't give sht about my contents at all no matter how good it's , my nice niche is not that competitive of course but it have too many people write on it , if I got authority to my site equal to PR5 I'll rank first on every major KW on that niche , 5-10K visitor / day will be easy

Same situation with me. Trying making money online 3 years and results are still very weak. Only thing that gave me "decent" money about 200$ / month was copywriting, but it is very boring and tiring activity.

You said that your niche is competitive and you have long articles. Why doesn't your site rank by micro long-tail keywords, which are present there? It is obviously they were mentioned in articles. So maybe 100 long read articles (with 3000-4000 words) would bring you 1000 visitors per day on the website, because of these micro long-tail keywords?

Are you native speaker? How do you know English? What is your English level? How much do you get from 1 article?

Go for a fulltime job to secure your bread and butter and develop some skills first.

5 years is quite a lot of time. Maybe there are things that you have been doing that you would need to reconsider. Like if Pinterest will not work for your region then perhaps some other social media that is popular there will do.

You don't need to invest on links. Focus on content and have some patient.

I've got 3 sites making a total of over $2000/month via AdSense alone and I never bought a single links to them.

It took around 14 months to make $500/month with good content. And low competitive keywords.

Dude, have you tried KGR method?
With it you may find some pretty good keywords.

You did it only with content, right?
No ads, just lots of pages with good articles?
Did you use KGR method or just focus long tail keywords?

1) Are you in competitive niche?
2) How much do you have articles, how much words per article?
3) your low comp keywords it is like 0-30 searching or much higher ?

What a sad story, buddy! 5 years is quite a lot of time doing something that isn't working. Have you tried doing anything else outside of IM?

@mainceaft

I am agree here with @RenegadeX
...if in the last 5 years, you've not made anything, you're clearly not learning. Either you haven't learned from your past mistakes and are simply repeating them or are choosing niches that are simply hard to outrank.

Because seems you just haven't predispositions for SEO - what mean that you only wasting time, which never will back.
Same as not everyone can be a painter - not everyone can be a SEO's, especially good one.

Also in SEO much more important is ability to predict what will be tomorrow, than what is today.
Because in other case tomorrow you can be naked, as we saw in a lot of examples people who was thinking that they know the SEO.

In SEO is that many opposite opinions, that beginner have no chance to select proper one.
As the results they're learning stupid things which really no matter or/and having minimal influence on Google ranking.

Cheers, Greg.

I was thinking about Micros niche but I couldn't find long list of less competitive KW out of it , Just recently I start writing on micro niche KW , the result were not promising I only got 70 visitors day , and after recnt update they went down to 20 ( it's like Google hates my site ) .
BTW I wasn't wasting time all these years I already have regular job , and I find part time job from time to time , I learned PHP and did create couple scripts ( they didn't sell good ) , I already learn HTML CSS JS , but getting job off these is hard in my country , ( companies only demand "web-sites design form other companies they never trust freelance , they think me beggar , it's very backward country I put ads on "classifieds site "I got call but no real request '' " )
currently I work as writer with some guy since he like my writing .

If you have $0 in income right now, get a job first and foremost. I don't get why people spend their last $50 on a SEO package hoping somehow the tables will turn and their generic 2 page website will start earning $20 per day with Adsense.

Secondly, if in the last 5 years, you've not made anything, you're clearly not learning. Either you haven't learned from your past mistakes and are simply repeating them or are choosing niches that are simply hard to outrank.

Hi folks,
I recently started a job at a telemarketing center, they sell ad space in high school level sports booklet programs( the kind for tournaments, regionals, playoffs etc). it's only been a week they have us cold calling, for the most part, I imagine its just newbie treatment. I was thinking though, what if i could set up a lead gen site for this sort of niche, I could run a google ads campaign to the site or maybe social media ads. I could gather some hot leads via a form on the site.
take my leads to work and call them on the company time and sell them the ad space.
i know the efficacy of digital marketing. and the sales script at work in pretty awesome.

I think this is an idea worth testing, but I'm not sure how it would work fully.
I have no clue what the online marketplace is for ad space in high school level sports programs.

folks let me hear your input.
Should I not even waste time?
Has anyone heard of something like this before? if so, where should I start?
