Hi all and sorry for depressed title , but really I got enough from G , long story short ~5 Yrs ago I got Manual Action from G on my main site "after one of my competitors reports to G" , my other site got down due to hosting issue "it was cheap bitcoin host" ,
Past years I bought dozens of new / expired domains , with these domains I barely reached page 5 SERP ,
And I were only competing o long tail KW after tow years my best domain almost reach 500 visitors/day
I even tried get some legit back links using paid listing webdirectories but that didn't help that much .
BTW I didn't consider my self n00p on SEO generally , but I had limited budget and resources (or trusted people) to create my own PBN , I bought SEO service from some guy here and his service were terrible ,
and what's makes thing worst I don't own any paid SEO tools like XRumer GSA etc , I know it's my mistake I should have these , in short my problem lies on how to get real links from authority site to boost my ranking , I need recommendation from real service/seller who got one of these .

Im sorry to hear that, in 5y you could do many things in your life and be happy now. Mostly all of us have same problem with SEO and that is getting good authority links. Its not easy anymore if you have budget 1500 or more you can buy few good authority links each month. But think about if all this is worth to you in long term, i see even white hat sites lose ranking and traffic, there is no guarantee with G whatever you do.

These stuff you bought and tried. They're people who will pay you to teach them how to avoid the mistakes you made.

To me, you tried the fast shortcuts, no money earned but tons of valuable experience. Try again and you just might hit jackpot.

If you have $0 in income right now, get a job first and foremost. I don't get why people spend their last $50 on a SEO package hoping somehow the tables will turn and their generic 2 page website will start earning $20 per day with Adsense.

Secondly, if in the last 5 years, you've not made anything, you're clearly not learning. Either you haven't learned from your past mistakes and are simply repeating them or are choosing niches that are simply hard to outrank.

I am also in the same boat....trying since many years....earned a few bucks but nothing substantial....still not lost hope....trying other sources of traffic and other methods.....nowadays I think only genuine guest post links work which are very difficult to get and cost a lot.

In some point I was welling to pay 5K for real authority link , but how could I got any guarantee off it !

currently I have job and honest average salaries on my country could not pay me single PBN service , but I don't mind paying any fee as long it boost my website ranking little bit , I couldn't find service that offers any type of guarantee The money I spent I couldn't get it return very easy .
What I need is not that much just earning G trust (in old measurement it Like getting PR3 ) , I don't trust metrics at all , all I have new is few comment links and dozens of webforums that I cud submit links to ,

I'm trying more than 5years but still noob in life and IM

Bro we just don't have luck that's it :D

I'm tired of people giving strange recommendations on here.

Something I tell everyone is: Don't copy anyone else exactly. Do everything with your own twist.

Something I'd like to add here is: Try going to the source.
If you need (for example) backlinks, get yourself into making them yourself. And make money while doing so. If some guy on the internet can offer a service for creating backlinks, so can you. Analyze the competitors and look, what they are doing and what you could do better. Sell that or use it yourself. Invest that money into the next step.

The money will get flowing sooner than you think and you will have full control of every step in your process. Plus you are diversifying your money making a great amount at the same time. If you sites get banned/block or something else, you still got your skill in making backlinks for someone else and can offer that for some quick cash/building up again.

And for the end: Keep your secrets... well... secrets.
A guy knowing your secrets will be your main competitor.

Good luck!

Edit: Fuck luck! Luck is distributed pretty equally. What you need, is to be prepared for it, just as it hits you. :)

This is happening to me (3years now) and there are two reason behind this
i have no capital to invest
i cannot focus on one thing only and stick with it till it succeed
Now , after knowing my weaknesses i am starting again ...

If SEO isn't working for you,
Social media is working for everybody
(Edit; I made my first $100 within 1 year, then it sky rocketed 1000× from there)

Goggles are too clear to beat them

I'm trying for 4 years and lost lots of money buying this and that

Build a foundation organically,
Then use your foundational profits to expand into BHW methods on the side.

That way, your main income is never disturbed.

And you have money to play with & learn without going negative

(That's what I did)

I don't own any SEO tools, and I didn't used to have much money to invest either. I remember my first site; I spent $250 on backlinks (fun fact; on services people here claim doesn't work :p) + content, and that site has ranked for 2 years now and made about $400/week passively ever since.

You must've done something wrong.

What type of site was it, informal? Ecommerce? Amazon affiliate?

Is your site "better" (i.e. "The Authorithy" in the niche?) compared to your competitors?

How many words did you have on your site? Did you have longer articles than your competitors? I feel like way too many people get snowed in on backlinks and forget about content. You're going to have a hard time passing your competitors in SERPs if they have a 7,000 words pillar article, and you have a 35 word category page.

What I'm trying to say is; we need more information to figure out why you can't even break page 5(!?!). You must've missed something cruicial. Maybe you keywords have higher competition than you think?

I remeber getting a PM from someone who was wondering why he couldn't rank. He had spent $50 on an Amazon Affiliate site from here, the site was extremly basic with 2 articles, one that was targeting a keyword + one that was just there as filler content. Now, he would probably never, ever, rank for shit with that crap website. It's too thin. Not even good enough to be a PBN. Meanwhile competitors has 30,000 words on the website, and with all the legal pages, FAQ page etc, social accounts, and so on. Just a bigger, and better site, as simple as that.

I was also in this boat and broke out just this year. I started blogging January this year (I had a lot of experience beforehand though) and for 3 - 4 months I pumped out content like crazy.
No Backlinks, just content and guess what? by MAY I had ranked the first page for all my articles and even 1st for some.

The mistake I made is focusing the damn content around my country which has shitty Adsense CPC. Amazon too doesn't convert, ever.. so instead of wasting the traffic, I edited my content and converted it to Service driven. Blog setup, Web design, On-page SEO... all the easy stuff

From that experience and earnings I made (i was making close to $100 a month and sometimes $200+)

I created a new site 2 months ago and used the same experience, now I earn $5 a month via Propeller Ads on the site, $5 passive income is a lot considering I started from nothing and just set up the blog in 1 month with no backlinks.

My Advice: If you feel like what your doing ain't working, Start something else and forget about the later but keep it online... In a few months or a year, you'd be amazed by the results.

PS: I created a new site again, Even if it earns $1 a day its still successful... imagine having 30 unsucessful blogs that earn $1 a day or even $0.5.. hosting is cheap, domain renewal is cheap.. you have nothing to lose trying lots of ideas at the same time... also checkout Propeller Ads if you have failed blogs.. the little traffic in bulk is alot
