For some reason I get an error when directly responding to you so hopefully this works.

You've cleared up the confusion a bit. :) I understand the "bait/domain" portion. Just curious as to how clicking "my" site would help amazon? Are users buying from "my" site or amazon?

Well, when they see your add - They'll go onto your site. Then look at the various HDTV's you have on there. Choose which one they like, click it, which will take them to that product on amazon. Then, they purchase and you make a %$.

Got it? :P

just a heads up, never use an astore as your front page on your site. it is a banner. i am saying this because i have experienced it. i am a guy who is still making 10k with amazon each month and i know the ins and outs. so better use something like wpzonebuilder or something. and also remember to add the Amazon Disclaimer on your site. else amazon is very cruel these days.

This is such a great method nfl, thanks for giving us this nugget of gold! So many people are so one diminsional in their thinking when it comes to methods, you have to learn how to see the PRINCIPLES behind the methods and you will find your pot of gold.
 
Been prepping and researching most of the week finally finished something ( not related to this thread) but inspired by it. I'm tired more than anything, my eyes are killing me, but I'm curious to see how all my planning will work out. Best of luck everyone. Going to take a break and start something else.

Would you have any other relevant content on the site? Or will it be a distraction? Opening post screenshot of website looks very basic, but is this all you need?

I was wondering the exact same thing, should we have a WordPress blog with reviews and such? Or should we just be straight to the point with the Amazon products they are looking for right on the front page?

I have my site setup with a custom header. Apart from that, it looks pretty much the same as the OP's with the same type of product links, but in a different niche. I'm going to give it a trial run and see how it goes. Then later on I can add more info. and pics about related products. If I get some sales and I can see it's promising, then I will go ahead and spend more time on the site.
 
great methods but i dont have amazon affiliate. not american to post on craglist
 
Thank you OP for helping me to realize to think OUTSIDE the box. I'm trying to take all this stuff in because I'm just a complete newb, and trying to take bits and pieces of other peoples strategies and come up with my own.

As far as I'm aware, you can sign up for Amazon affiliates program from any country. You can find a lot of US classified sites, it doesn't have to be Craigslist. There are hundreds of them. Just enter: "Classified advertising USA" into Google and see what comes up.

I also use an extension on Google Chrome called Google Global. You enter a search query into Google ie "Free classified advertising". Google will obviously return search results. Then you click on the Google global tab and choose USA. It will then return results as seen by people in the US.
 
So far I have setup my website and placed 10 classified ads on free US classified sites. Working on placing more adds, am targeting 100 ads to test this method. It's very time consuming but I will continue until I reach my target. I keep track of the advertising I have successfully placed in an MS Excel spreadsheet.

So far I have received 7 clicks on Amazon affiliates but no conversions. Not enough traffic yet I guess. If you guys like, I can keep you updated on my progress. Let me know.

i have a plugin that tracks how many clicks on my amazon products but what's the best way to track which classified ad sites gave me the most traffic?
