I believe so, you become an affiliate and then amazing give you those ad codes and you put them on your own website. Like he showed in the picture, then you use the classified sites to redirect people to your website, they click on something to buy and they end up on amazon apparently and some will buy it.

It probably works, but I sometimes overestimate people. Meaning that I imagine someone seeing the classified post and then seeing that they have to go to another website and then that website itself redirects them to amazon etc. Wouldn't the average person with even half a brain at this point realize that this is clearly not a legit classified thing?
I mean people go on classified to usually buy something in their area, not to end up on a site like amazon and buy something and wait for it to be posted to them.

Or maybe I am just giving the average person too much credit and maybe you really can get buys on your affiliate ads this way. I guess the only way to really know is to try it.

I've read through the discussions and I'm truly amazed at the amount of skepticism I've seen throughout, but that unfortunately seems to be normal in our lives today! I remember from when I was still working in private industry, whenever, someone came up with an idea, the first response was inevitably, why it would not work, and I'm a firm believer that this is why many ideas are never ever brought up in the first place!

I think this idea has merit, but until I try it I will have no idea whether or not it works for me, but there are enough success stories here that if it doesn't than I'm probably not doing something correctly, not that it does not work

I do have a question! My Amazon affiliate account was suspended, and I have not tried to reapply. I'm wondering if someone here has had any experience in getting a new affiliate account?

As I understood, you set up an ad with your website name, and they go to your site and then what ? what's the process exactly ? any detailed method for noobs like me ?
