So how would I do that? Go on classified site, not log in, just make some ads, not put my email in designated spot, but put it in the body of the ad? Am I getting it right? Or do I still put my email in designated spot, but just select hide and put it in the body instead?

You were right the second way

I noticed everyone that's tried this have made ziltch so far other than the OP. You doing something different you forgot to add? or is this just another method on here that works in theory for anyone but in reality it doesn't?

No. You have only noticed those who have posted back. The only thing I did is find a sellable product and advertise the hell out of it.

This looks great but the problem if the ad has been ghosted.

Can you guide me on how to post an ad without getting ghosted?

Craiglist is a great marketing tool but If your ad does not show on their listings it's totally useless.

How do I post in US if I'm in Europe?

Update:

Day 2 - Posted 75 ads, Azon just updated, no sales/conversions. Not cloning the laptop example, totally different niche with same result.

Starting to suspect this to be a working-in-theory method that doesn't work IRL but will give it one more day just to be certain

Anyone else (except OP) seeing conversions?

I'll do my best to answer it for you:

1) No, you need all new information. If you were banned because of activity in your seller's account expect to get banned again.

2) You can and that was posted as a method long ago. I can't find the thread now... probably because craigslist is not allowed as a topic and that thread dealt specifically with craigslist.

You guys wasting your time won't see results unless you put in the work to make it happen. First off, laptops is only one niche to target and there are plenty others that will make you more money in the long run. Secondly, each classified website operates differently so you need to figure out what niche your store will work well with and test it out. Thirdly, if your message doesn't convert, IT DOESN'T CONVERT.

What the OP showed you is a example of his message. Learn to be unique and think outside the box. Take this as advice or forever, you will be reading BHW.

Not an exact answer but a workaround

Change your IP address

Open new account in name of company or website you own as long as you have a payment gateway attached that will enable you to receive the Amazon sales payment dues

That is one way to do it or else you could try one more time with your original name on a new IP address - you might get away with that - but you will never know unless you try...

Great workaround bud

I saw this thread - and the title was a little misleading because I thought this was a great idea really - to get some easy conversions ... anyway I do alot in Amazon and have recently studied alot of Stats and stuff to better my own business.

Anyway this is what I did for this as a test :

* made custom landing page - with custom buttons etc with 8 products on it
4 main products priced from $1000-$2000 and 4 accessories $100-$200

including a short domain topic related - and adding just standard plugins.

* next posted in my local area - advertising the $1800 one for $1200 but you had to come over to pick it up asap.

got a bunch of replies offering $700 $800 type of number - but still replied and sent them a link to my landing page .. as well as replying to everyone else who replied.

So what were the Stats ?? --- 151 clicks of my affiliate links on the landing page 0 Sales

Conclusion : * seems to me that people want to really low ball the expensive items so when faced with 2 choices close to the offered price "new" instead of "used" -- they are really just looking for a deal and not interested at the "new" price.
* also this may work better at that $300 sweet spot where they miss a deal at $250 but faced with being able to get a "new" one right now for $50 more from Amazon - then they make the leap // with more expensive items then this is not so much the case.

Next Step -- I would definately get further involved in this but make another 9 sites - and advertise more extensively and see what the results look like - in terms of the price point / and also a bunch of different types of ads ...... it also confirms what I already knew though - Google Search traffic really is so valuable.

Rep given to OP because while it definately takes more work to succeed than most people may think -- its just another traffic source for people relying on Google like me.

tried alot to post an ad to backpage, but it always said "An error occurred while placing your ad. Email us at [email protected] for additional info. Please include the ad you're trying to place"

and how do you guys post a pic in the description in ad. I mean is it some kinda jpeg to html thingy or what

For al those that say this method doesn't work, either change your ad text and/or increase your ad posting. I have had success with ad posting in the past, and it usually comes when you're posting 10 - 15 new ads every day, 5 to 6 days per week. As I mentioned in a previous post, I have used a VA in the past, but gonna give a few Fiverr gigs a go this time to saturate specific classified sites and see how I go. Bottom line is that if you have less than 100 ads live, then you're probably not gonna succeed. Also, go after the sites that have more traffic, not talking about CL here, just look at their competitors.

A question for the wise brotha:

Haven't worked with cl in a while and know there is more competition involving cl now. Do I need a proxy for each product or should I not worry about proxies even if i get banned?
