Noobs PPD Journey

Cheers mate,

Also I've received a pm to not use Cleanfiles which I will research different ppd providers now. I can't reply via pm so thank you for the advice.

are you going to create multi niche site? Also why PPD and not CPA networks?

Good luck on your journey.

Thanks for the replies.

I have chosen PPD because I have had some experience doing that a year ago but I have not thought about CPA, could you outline the advantages of using that instead of PPD.

The advice that I was suggested for not using clean files was for bad conversions and reversals.

Oh, I see. I've never used Cleanfiles myself, so I can't comment on that (although those threads I linked to seem to suggest it might be).

Thanks for the advice abdurrakib, I will look into using CPA and cut out the middle man.

todays plan of action:

Write the main article, and 15 smaller pages for internal linking.

look to create backlinks, aiming for 30 or so.

The keyword I am targeting is a hack for a popular game. Which probably a lot of people here are also targeting.

i will update this page with the methods I used to gain the backlinks, and some tips I found to help me write large amounts of content.

Do not use cleanfiles. Maybe a year ago it could have been a good idea, but nowadays the earnings have dropped, most users left, and the leaderboard seems full of fake accounts. Plus the amount of reversed leads increased a lot. Basically, the network seems dead. I left CF a few months ago and it was a great decision. You could try CPA grip (simply upload your file to a regular hosting site, then lock that link). A lot more offers than on regular ppd networks, easy to get accepted plus the conversion rate is pretty good.

Good luck. I have been thinking to start a site to monetize with ppd, but i wanted to start getting traffic as soon as possible.
Do you expect any other traffic sources except the one from search engines?

Hi all thanks for the replies.

Thanks for the suggestion, I will make a note of it.

At the moment I will just be focusing on G traffic. Because I am working on another project, I only really want to spend time looking at one traffic source, because I have lots of articles to write and market with my other project.

What I have done today

I have produced the main article, which is 1,000 words long (I would have liked to achieve 2000 but there is only so much you can write before it looks like rubbish) which includes images of the 'benefits' of using my hack, and just gibberish on how the hack works and about the game.

I have submitted for some backlinks on F1vr (30 to be precise)

I am currently working on writing 10 smaller posts.

I have also scraped some expired Tamblr blogs and registered them. I managed to get 3 blogs with PA of 37, 31 and 29 and with backlinks (from unique domains): 139, 29, 10

What I plan on doing today

  • Looking for some more expired web 2.0's. Looking to register 10 by the end of tonight (I use all free tools and will give a guide to how I found them at some point when my workload slows).
  • Finish writing the 10 smaller posts and create a on-site link wheel targeting my main post with different related anchor phrases.
  • Write a transcript of 1 fake review for my hack and 1 for how to use the hack. I will submit these 2 to different people on F1vr to make videos of them.
  • Edit the wordpress theme - Make it look a lot more professional and trustworthy
  • Set-up cloudflare. - I will be using cloudflare to increase the load time of my website and for their free SSL option. Because faster loading times and SSL apparently increase your rank in G.
  • Install Yoast SEO - To optimize the website and posts/pages
  • Install XML Sitemap - For crawling and setting the priority of my main article page
  • Think about ordering social signals to the main website to be drip fed over a few weeks - I will look through BHW and F1vr for some cheap deals.
  • Make progress on the current 3 tamblr blogs - edit themes, post pictures and articles
  • Install w3 Cache - For faster loading times.
  • Install a plugin which reduces the load time of images (I forget the name)
  • Install a plugin to track traffic (Haven't decided on which yet)

Thank you to all that have replied. I have had to make changes because of my limits as a new forum user.

Cheers Saumitra.

What I have done since the last post:

  • Installed a new theme (sociallyviral), which I got from the BHW downloads section.
  • Set-up Cloudflare and W3 Cache
  • Tested the speed of the website
    • (averaged between 700ms and 1.2s to load)
  • Added two new posts and interlinked them to each other and the main page.
  • Set-up visitor tracker
    • It has shown that I have had 4 visitors (3 from a baidu and 1 from mowser)
  • Set-up Site map, ToS and Privacy and linked to them from homepage.
  • Set-up Cloudflare SSL.
  • Started producing images to use in review videos.

What I plan on doing next
  • Scan competitors backlinks to see if I can steal any of them. (most of them are using PBNs though iirc)
  • Create a few backlinks
  • Add 3 more posts

I hope you will succeed.. I heard new sites take more time time to rank than it used to, what's your view on that?
