Noob Youtube user here - some questions

Hi All,

I am a travel blogger and just starting out with a few vlogs to get my feet wet (videos are gaining popularity by the day).

So my questions are -
1. Do I open a brand new youtube channel for my blog or rename my old channel?
2. Can anyone see your youtube email id? (If I use my old/personal account as it has history/age and few travel videos already with fair no of views).
3. How to add a clickable link to my blog in my youtube cover - this also gives your blog a valuable backlink, right?
4. Any other tips for youtube channel/growing it would be great

4. Timing, perseverance and 10 years of really hard work will eventually make you look like an overnight success

3. Yes you can. Click on the gear icon and turn on "Customize layout of your channel". Then click the pencil icon on the cover art to insert link etc.
4. FB Fanpage and great content to send traffic to youtube.
