Noob trying to grow an account

Hi,

I am new to botting and trying to grow an account. I purchased Mega Bot for Instagram last night and ran it last night. It ran for about an hour then shut off for some reason. The only setting I put was to like photos. It ended up liking about 120 pictures and out of these I gained 5-6 followers. Obviously, this doesn't seem very efficient so I was wondering what the best way to grow your followers is. I've heard commenting with a bot can get you banned very fast so I haven't tried that.

I manually followed/unfollowed people for about a week prior to this and gained about 60-80 followers per day doing that. I am afraid to try that through botting because I'm unsure of how fast/slow to do it. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

best way is follow/unfollow. If you're worried about how fast to do it, just start off with really low settings and build up. check out some IG journeys, they usually have some help to offer.

I am having similar issue where the bot would crash as well. The support team send me this guideline. The bot must have these Prerequisites or Dependency installed on your pc. Update them if needed. Hope this works for you.

I relay on commenting to gain my followers and don't do follow/unfollow method. If you write up semi-long spintax comments, don't be spammy, and don't include '@', your audience will follow you. Provided your content feed has quality images. Also, I can still comment over 300 comment a day without getting temp ban. Whereas for Follow Liker, I get comment blocks after 30 comments.

Follow/unfollow is the best way to do it, with some likes by related #s or liking your followings' pictures.

can you just like with that method, or does it make you comment and follow?

Do I put FLC:yourAcc in the 'scrape photo' section to just like the pics of people who are following my account?

You just need to check what you want it to do. So if you only want like, just tick like. Leave the others untick.
 
From my experience, and from what I've heard - follow / unfollow is the best method.

To just like, would I put FLC:yourAcc in both the 'scrape users' and 'scrape photos' settings? Because if you put it in the 'scrape users' settings , when it came to following, wouldn't it get confused because you can't follow your own followers?
 
Ok, so I'm using megabot to follow currently. How many people do you guys recommend I should follow per hour or per day? I don't want to get banned
 
I dont know how is the situation on your end guys, but for me Mega Bot is really problematic tool, it glitches very often, it does not crash but the browser is freezing. Also many times when I try to load all the details, accs, KWs, proxies it fails to login to iconosuaqre. Sometimes this scenario is repeating and I am able to run the bot on the 3-rd 4-th attempt. So in this situations this thing can kill me like a 10 mins. I got everything updated, Java, .NET 4.5.1, Flash, DirectX, SL.

OP start to follow 40 users per hour, and everyday increase the tempo to 60. Everyday change/rotate the delays (example: lower 2 seconds on master delay, increase 2 seconds random delay)

I understand what you mean. My bot at times freezes too. I have all updates and required Prerequisites,etc as well. The owner is working on a newer version of the bot and said to be much better than this one. Will see how that goes when it is release.

I actually prefer FL, but I can't get more than 30 comments posted before I get blocked. On the other hand, MB, I can do over 300 (1 do 450 actually) without getting blocked.
 

Well bro lets hope Tompots create something decent.

About the difference between the 2 bots, I think every bot leave some kind of a footprint and MB is less abused (this is only theory, I am not a bot guy though). As far as I remember it was confirmed by other members too, that MB is performing better then FL in certain scenarios.
Let me ask you do you use DMs? If yes whats the difference between the two, I am just wondering whats the threshold nowadays, before block/ban.

When you say "everyday increase the tempo to 60." do you mean everyday increase it BY 60? so 40->100->160..? etc.? Or just do 40 per hour first day, then 60 per hour everyday after? Thanks for the help btw.

And my Megabot also glitches out every 1-2 hours so I have to manually stop and reset it. I guess it will do for now. I've heard too many bad stories about FL, so don't really want to risk it right now.

I think he meant to increase slowly until 60.
So 40-42-45...60
