Noob that wants to make money

hey everyone. This is my first thread here. Im in need of some advice. I am 16 and have 500 dollars to start a business with. I want to buy wholesale and sell products on ebay and at my school such as dre beats, nixon player watches, and ray bans. i have found that kids at my school make a killing buying products like these from china and selling them at school. Can someone give me advice on how to do this? or if their are any other options that will make me around 200 a week or more can you please share? i really want to start some sort of business. not working minimum wage at mcdonalds for 8$ per hour. 1. Go to this link and check the most searched items on ebay

2. Find suppliers here on bhw or find cheap products in (dealextreme, focalprice) and contact them for their product info and pricing.

3. Post ads on kijiji, gumtree, ebay, craigslist, backpage.

You have $500 dollars so you can hire some workers to do the posting for you. But it would be good to post them by yourself before hiring workers to check if the products are really profitable on major listing sites. Or you could also study SEO and how-to build website (wordpress, cms, joomla) for your business.

Also, please research and read which most info are already available here in bhw so you can gain more idea and insights on what business you really want to establish.

Adding onto cicsmayhem... Make an ebay account, learn "ebay stealth" while your at it. With the ebay account, you can search 'completed listings' to find what products are selling and for what price. Then use google to find these products wholesale. Find a big seller on ebay and look at their complete auctions to start...

Also it will depend on the state of your EBay account, and if you can just drop some of those HIGH RISK items on their without being flagged by EBay and/or PayPal.

Key to all of this is to research ALOT and find out where others went wrong.

I'm in the same boat as the dude that started this thread...what are some websites to order from?

try alibaba, go for gold suppliers to avoid fraud.

you go also go to charity shops or thrift stores, buy cheap stuff and sell them on ebay.
