Hi guys

I can't decide which SEO tool to buy right now. There are countless solutions and I do not want to test every tool.

I have a new web project site and sell only one product. At the moment i have only a premium domain but no backlings, ad words, seo opimization... but currently 500+ users per month enter my URL manually.

My plan is now to buy one solution for different steps.
Step 1: Website audit/optimization and speed test
Step 2: Website keywords optimization
Step 3: Google ads optimization
Step 4: Instagram Shop Ads, Facebook Shop Ads, Google Shopping optimization
Step 5: Backlink optimization

At the moment i track all user activities with Hitsteps.
Now im looking for a good SEO starter tool to learn and im ready to invest money for a subscription.

Question to the experts:
For my plans, which tool is the best one to start and invest money and time to learn it?
- Ahrefs (100$ p/m),
- Semrush (100$ p/m),
- SEO Powersuite (300$ p/y)
- or do you know another good tool to start as SEO Noob?

Thank you for your feedback and help

I would usually have told you to get Ahrefs, but so far, Semrush has been my go-to tool to use. (I still use the free tools from Ahrefs to compare my results)

I do use it with other Softwares.

But plan wise, it gives you a lot more than Ahrefs (Even with Ahrefs, if you starting out you will be fine with either plan)

Semrush has been really adding a lot of features and updating its backlinks records to catch up with Ahrefs.

Hi Guys

thank you very much for your answers :)
I have tested now Ahrefs & Semrush and both tools are very powerful.

Ahrefs looks for me very clean and Semrush have very nice features and informations.

But i have created now a tools list and split the functions in different solutions:

Commercial:
- SECockpit (very powerful for Keywords)

Free:
- SEO Site Checkup (Site Audit)
- Screamingfrog (Site Audit)
- KeywordTool (nice tool for Keywords)
- GTmetrix (Speed test)

for the other functions i will check later other solutions or buy an Ahrefs and Semrush account

thank you for your help and have a nice day :)

you can buy the SEO tools Cheap(you can buy from any seo group buy service provider ) cost and test it out which is working well for you.
my advice use all tools for best result
manual check is must whatever tool you use its doesn't matter

You can also check groupbuy tools where they provide tons of tools for a few bucks per month. But if you really have the budget go for ahrefs.

Mate you can have all these tools in very cheap amount, just search for flikover or privateseo club. Thanks me later :)

I didnt know about this...

Thank you for the share... Price looks very less but does it work the same..?

Yes its exactly the same, i am using it personally. just one thing if you start rank tracking report then they will delete your report in 5-6 days as their database gets filled with new users

The major issues in the group buy is, you will not have the privacy. All your data and researches can be easily seen

Excel & Find a site audit template you can use and modify it most of the ones generated by tools will be stamped with a logo anyway UNLESS you pay extra for it.

The rest you can set up in excel to manage and keep tabs on just start by working out a book template save it and then use it for each client. That way if the client ever wants to move on you can just pack up the spreadsheet for them.

Tools are just that. Tools. No need to become dependant on them to find a catch all solution.

If you are starting out you don't need the extra overhead till you get your first paying client anyway. Good luck.

Ahrefs trial when necessary.
Can search it up here you can keep getting it.

For website optimization use Google Tools: google speed insight & Google mobile-friendly test - 100% free.

I think the cheapest and easiest option for start is SEOSurfer. I think the cheapest plan is cheaper than 60 bucks per month, and it really can help you understand how to write great content and from where you should get quality backlinks in your niche.
I've also heard that their support is quite fast when it comes to response time.

If you’re new to the SEO game (as you say that you are) then I suggest Ahrefs. Keyword difficulty (Ahrefs’ Achilles’ Heel) is something most people tend to tinker with a bit later down the line. So if you don’t plan on using that function any time soon, Ahrefs will offer great value.
On the other hand, SEMrush will give you more features and will be much more reliable when it comes to the above mentioned KW difficulty. If you don’t mind starting out with a tool that is a bit rougher around the edges (but undeniably powerful), then it may be the right option for you.
I should also probably state that many people use both tools. They complement each other quite nicely.
