Noob Micro Niche Diary 2012

Quick update:

After doing a little more research I decided that the keyword that I came up with initially probably isn't a good one to target. Therefore I am now working on content for a completely different niche. This is a niche that I made a bit of money from last year with one of my ecommerce sites and so I know that their will be ads showing for it.

The new KW has 1000 exact monthly searches with a CPC of $1.35. I have bought an EMD for this niche, installed wordpress and went for the HeatMap theme. (Please let me know if you think I should go for a different one). I have also written one 500 word article so far and will start working on another one now.

Should I have my articles as posts on the homepage or just link to them from the homepage?

I personally sticky my main article, the rest I have as normal posts.

Just a quick question - hopefully somebody can help. I have used SEnuke X to add backlinks to one of my sites. Should I then copy the list of Web 2.0s that SEnuke created and blast these web 2.0 links with scrapebox and No Hands SEO?

I just want to make sure that I haven't misunderstood what I have read.

I would try to avoid using high ctr themes. Just a suggestion, there are a lot of banned users because of this.

Subscribed, I am also starting with micro niche sites. I've started with buying two keywords from sellers here on bhw and I've registered domains for these keywords. I hope we'll both benefit from each other's experience.
Best of luck on your journey. :)

I'm planning on starting one or two micro niche sites tonight, will try some of the stuff you do :D

Since you're claimed yourself noob who doing a noob method and going noob way so i guess I will not give a noobing care

Yes sir, but do it over a week or dont ping the links so their found naturally.(cant remember if you can disable in NHS)

Also did you remember to check us local searches if your targeting the US (as you probably want)

Also don't apply for adsense with your niche sites.
You will most likeyly be rejected unless it got decent design and lots of articles

Wow really? How do most people get approved for an Adsense account? I guess if it comes to it I could add it to one of my ecommerce sites but that's a bit more tricky than adding to Wordpress.

In the past it was very easy to get approved with an blogger blog with some decent posts (since its owned by mr G)

Not sure if that's the case anymore though.

Also you don't have to put adsense on the site your applying with, the site is only used in the review process.

My Adsense account got approved this morning. I had only added it to a 2 day old mns so maybe it's not as hard to get approved as I thought.

Ok,

I'm back on it today after a busy few days in the real world.

Things to do today:

  • Write articles for my first MNS site.
  • Setup a new MNS site for a new keyword that I found yesterday.
  • Write articles for this second MNS site.
Then, what do you guys think I should do?

Should I:
  • Setup an SEnuke X campaign for these sites?
  • Use scrapebox to blast some comments?
  • Use AMR to blast some articles?
  • Or just keep adding content for now and submit the sites to search engines?
Would be good to get others opinions as I go through this journey.

Me again!

So far today I have added a couple of articles to my first MNS site. I also decided to sign up to clickbank as I don't want to put all my eggs in one basket with adsense so hopefully I will also get some sales through this.

I have just done a google search for my main keyword and I am already ranking on the first page of Google in position #7. That is without doing any offpage SEO whatsoever. Any tips on what to do next?

I wouldn't recommend blasts on a 2 day old site.
1st Do some social bookmarks.
2nd Scrape, spin and submit articles to high pr article directories.
3rd Post spinned articles on web2.0s and then do a scrapebox, amr blast on them.

Hi everyone,

Over the last couple of days I have been doing a lot of reading and trying to get my head around web 2.0's so that I can start building links to my money site. I have printed off a list of web 2.0's that I found on this site and I understand that I need to create a blog on each of these and place a link to my money site.

However, what I want to know is that if for example my site was about Hot Dogs and I build a blogger blog to point to my money site, does this blog also need to be entirely about hot dogs? Or can I just setup one blogger blog and then just add different posts about different subjects to point to different sites?

Not sure if I've worded that very well.

In other words, can I use 1 web 2.0 to point to different money sites or do I need to setup a new web 2.0 specific to each niche?

Thanks

You should have related content on the web 2.0s.

Don't use articles spinned from one original article as this leaves quite a footprint.
Scrape 4-5 different articles related to your keyword and spin them into a lot more. Post these spinned articles to web2.0s and point them to your money site.
You can either do a UC linkpush by napster( which takes a lot of time but has more link juice as content links are valued more by google after panda)

Here is the original thread by napster

Or you can post these spinned articles to the web 2.0's and blast them with scrapebox.

Hey everyone,

So, I have spent the last couple of days setting up some web 2.0's to point to my sites. So far I have been manually rewriting articles to add to these web 2.0s but to be honest this is quite time consuming.

I'm guessing that I can scrape articles using scrapebox but I haven't really learned enough of what scrapebox can do yet so I think I will spend a bit of time doing that today.

Does anybody know of any free software that is good for making banners? Fed up of buying fiverr gigs and receiving back some shit banner than is nothing to do with my site.

One more question - if I am building web 2.0s for several sites can I use say one blogger account to make several blogs or should I be setting up new accounts for each one? Also, do you put adsense on your web 2.0s?
