Non www to www Would it effect my SEO?

Hey,

I was doing SEO to my domain in non www version of my site and also my domain is indexed on google without www but today I set permanent 301 redirect to my domain from non to www and set my preferred domain on google search console also www. But I am worried all my backlinks was in non www domain. Would it effect now my SEO. Also Ahrefs is showing zero backlinks in www.

mines similar got 19 backlinks going to www and 58 going to non www.

my prefered is www

Pointing all of the links one way and only serving that version of the site is the right thing to do for SEO.

Okay thanks. How long will it take to show all my backlinks that are pointing to non www to www? Ahrefs is showing zero backlinks with www

Google doesn't care Ahrefs Matrics. There should not be any problem when you set 301 Redirection properly. But, next time build all links with WWW version.
