non-us site + us-backlinks?

I'm starting to SEO a danish e-commerce store. I was wondering whether I should focus on link-building from danish blogs and sites, or should I also get some US backlinks?

Getting US-backlinks is easier, too. A lot more social bookmarking sites are from the US.

And, outsourcing US-linkbuilding is A LOT easier, as well.

IMO backlinks from Danish websites will help you more to rank in the local google, although US backlinks will help you rank also, just not as much. Do both, what's the problem, as much as you can afford.

Yeah.

One thing I wanted to do is to outsource the backlinking and SEOing to a "freelancer" in India. For a non danish speaking person, to backlink on danish sites would be quite hard. Especially the horrible translation of google translate.

Any tips on what to do when dealing with non-us sites?
