no more youtube commenting?

I read a few places of a rumor that youtube was going to get rid of commenting...I highly doubt it but has anyone else read this?

How about links to where you read it? It sounds bullshit.
 
Agreed, stop trying to spread rumours and actually provide sources to these places, and before posting it, look and see if they are reliable, if they are real and if they are effective.

Comments are one of the best features about youtube and it gives people a chance to provide feedback to the video maker as well as express their feelings. There is no reason for removing the youtube commenting unless they are referring to reward giving.

EDIT: If anything, youtube would be removing the likes and dislikes feature, its a weaker form of communication and after a few survey, they found that people are more likely to dislike videos than like them on youtube.
 
lol !! That would be as good as saying, youtube is closing down. So seriously no rumors please. People already have options to turn off commenting if they want.
 
If they did that, it would be a perfect opportunity for facebook to jump on integrating video and youtube would become a graveyard just like myspace.
 
Sigh...this rumor isn't even close to being believable.
 
That would be stupid. Commenting is one of the main reasons why people watch YT videos in the first place, otherwise they would just search it up on a random website. Taking away that feature would just lose money on their part.
 
speaking of commenting anyone know a service that provides custom or theme related comments on videos??

I don`t know where you read this but I can`t imagine it.

I doubt he even read it anywhere to be honest, looking at his join date... Its a sure fire indicator that he is trying to get his post count up :(
 
Never heard of it! It was a prank maybe someone was playing on you. If youtube get rid of it then, obviously it will go in loss. :)
 
I think he's don't understand , the YouTube now try do using google + "eneble only profile was account with google + to comments ,
I mean if you have 10000k fake accounts without associate this on Google+ in future u cant get comments !!

Youtube will merge with google plus in order to outsmart facebook to become top competitor.Making us use only one single login format "Google+"
