no follow link is still valid for rank

It gives you a more natural link profile.

Without any no follows you end up looking like you are trying to game the algorithms generally and that will hurt you in the long run. Perhaps for those that churn and burn that is a different story but for the long term revenue model that is relying on organic traffic you want the no follows in your backlink infrastructure.
 
Most of the backlinks should be do follow but I'd take a no follow from a high PR, relevant and low OBL at any time.

80% do follow and 20% no follow is the mix I go for, or something like that.
