I gotta say..... this is pwnage of cosmic proportions. I just read through 3 pages of that thread and will probably need to buy a new keyboard since I spewed soda all over this one a few times from reading those email exchanges.
Amazing what some people will do!

I don't know why I did not think of this. I am pissed at myself for not thinking of this. If you go to 419eater (the best scam baiting site on the web) you will notice a member there named YeaWhatever. Yes, that is me.

For those of you wondering, you can pretty much get these guys to do just about anything. Be warned though, they are impossibly lazy so do not expect fast results.
 
LOL when I first saw the topic title, I thought it was gonna be a guide on how to write these scam emails. I was thinking why is his type of method on here? :S

They use crawlers that search for in text emails. So in theory you can set up a free email account with a vacation responder pointing to your CPA offer and post it on prominent static pages around the internet. Sit and let the automated cash flow...
 
LOL scam the scammer! this is the real thinking outside of the box. will try this out with their next mail
 
Until the scammers get smart and report you to your CPA company.
 
Did you see Dateline last night? They did a two hour show on how easy it was to get stolen credit card information, purchase electronics and have them shipped everywhere. They tracked where most of it was coming from.....and of course it was Nigeria and Benin. I guess Nigeria is so synonymous with scams that they are starting to move to Benin for scammer operations now.

When people fill out this forms online asking for your Name address etc. They get on Ancestry.com and find out who your mother is for the maiden name to get a hold of your credit info.

Anyways...if you get a chance to watch it....take the time.
 
This is Epic. What's the most someone has scammed out of one of these guys?
 
Are these people that send you the emails actually Nigerian? or do they just claim to know someone from Nigeria?
 
Love it, scam the scammers lol, payback for years of annoyance and checking my iphone for emails thinking its $$ when it's some idiot wasting my time.
