Nick Flame's "Why so serious?" backlink trick...

Nice! This is a very good addition! I have to thank you for that. For confirmation, you guys use this code right
Code:
 [ U R L = " h t t p : / / w w w . g o o g l e . c o m " ] : ) [/url]
. How about forums that don't support bb code?

Can you add this smilie to your profile as your picture and will it still work.

Also, if I hoover over the picture in some forums it will show the website and in other forums it does not, will this work even if the website does not show up when I hoover over the image of the smilie face
Thanks
B.

Hopefully no one is hyperlinking smiley using this idea in BHW :D

good one... what about a pixel links.. host image on your own site. or even "full stop"

i dont know what it is, but whenever i read your threads, i feel these butterflies in my stomach :P thanks

maybe you can try this on a word press blog as i have not tried it yet. this is for the no underline i believe.

Code:
<A HREF="whatever.htm" STYLE="text-decoration:none">

That won't work on most forums since the links will be underlined and/or a different color than regular text.

Example: "Article writinghttp://wontworkithttp://wontworks great for traffichttp://wontwork"

question, I planned on using this on myspace. Are seperate myspace profiles considered as different backlinks? Or what about different youtube videos?

Awesome little trick!
Simple is powerful, but often neglected.

is this trick can raise our site rank or just get banned soon?

Anybody have a fast way of finding .edu forums that don't normally allow website links in posts? Do you just have to go to each one and see? Because most of them are pretty well spammed and probably don' have much link juice. I want to know how to find the places that this trick will give plenty of link juice.

I was looking for this post. I thought Harro had written it for some reason.
