What is better? High PR links from different niche or low / NA PR links from my niche?

What do you think and why?

Disscusion Mode: ON

I think it's both, especially in the local sector.

If talking local keywords, like "City Dentist" Google is definitely giving ranking weight to directories and niche specific sites. I've seen some very competitive keywords in the local market rank only because the client had a site for years and was in all the local directories and niche specific directories. 3 years ago, you'd look at this link profile and think "Huh...how?", but nowadays that's become more and more a quality signal, so I say you need both.

try get backlinks from both and surely your SERP will increase...cheers!!

Based on my niche which is a local business, High PR links seem to do better then links from same niche

Work on the niche related backlinks but never work on the 0 or n/a page rank. Low authority websites can damage your website worth so work on atleast 1 PR and relevant links.

Try to use High domain authority and Niche sites which will really help.. :)

Why not both ?
Revelant Content and high pr, authority domain.

If it's social, I think PR is more important, for other backlinks, niche relevance is key.

This is a good opportunity for a case study though.
In theory, we can't do both of this.
We need high PR, and high relevancy.
