So I have a blue collar business in a medium size city in the US, and one of the main competitors just started creating a lot of accounts on Nextdoor and self advertise himself through there, which seems like a great fucking way to gain credibility.
I’ve decided to run through it as well, and realised they have some edge I don’t know about... For those not familiar, Nextdoor's authentication process requires the user justify their location by phone # verification that has the billing address same as the registered address or post card sent to you.
I need some help figuring out how they create so many accounts?
my thesis is they have a software to receive SMS from numbers registered at the area taken from white pages or whatever, any other ideas?
