The internet provides information. The doctor does not, or very limited, probably biased too.
You get an STD, say HPV, you go to 3 urologists to 3 different hospitals, and each tells you that you need to get circumcised.
They just wanna take your money by performing an unnecessary surgery (mutilation) on you. Of course, its routine to them. And in the end they havent solved your problem at all.
You go online, dig dig dig, get information, understand your condition, decide what to do about it. Maybe you dont get a circumcision, maybe 1,5 year passes by and the HPV goes away.
Then 10 years go by and you never had HPV again (im talking genital warts). So you didnt need a circumcision after all.
The doctor wont tell you that, but the internet will, if youre willing to dig for it and find it.
Doctors are useful. Maybe in your research you learned about causterization and you needed a doctor to burn off the genitsl warts. Maybethe warts came back, so a few months later you got them burned off again. Okay, we need a doctor now, but not to tell us what to do, but for us to tell him what to do.
Anyway, careful with the doctors. Theyll put you in an early grave for money, due to ignorance, carelessness, incompetence, ego, and so on and so forth.
The internet is the only chance you have for truth. Of course, less of a chance every day because of censorship and "fake news" that are dangerous and must be removed from the internet.
