Hi all,

I was recently exposed to the Affiliate concept...but one thing i can't figure out one thing. (forgive me....i have no tutor on this subject....its all from forums like this one).

If a Seller....is willing to pay an Affiliate Hugh Money to bring them leads, traffic, sales....WHY do they bother with Affiliate marketers----WHY NOT instead do all marketing IN-HOUSE?

This of course would save them Millions.

So why the Gap in the Market that creates Affiliates?

I am willing to share for example half of my profits with you if i am all day long at the beach drinking cocktails and you do the work to promote my products...

Like a pyramid, therefor 1st and 2nd tier affiliate wich also promote the product for you. Refer more = get rich.

Think of affiliate marketers as salesmen but the online version..

Would you rather do the sales alone or have 10 salesmen helping you market the product?

Plus affiliate marketers are more creative than any in-house team...

Ok.

Now....who can you trust to pay you? I read of stories where you do work...and you get leads and you don't get paid (screwed).

Does this happen often?

well, if you do things wrong you don't get paid..

generally you can't trust anyone, but still there are companies that people make good money with and have some kind of authority and trust in them

Affiliates are just another source of traffic, and with less (/different) risk.
