Hello everyone! I'm a newbie to SEO but very interested in the field. I would love to get your recommendations and tips on how to start blogging as a beginner and work on its SEO. Feel free to comment please

starting blogging is not hard (you just slam a website on whatever domain name you want and start writing about your life, your passions, your business, etc... whatever keeps you motivated and going). But I assume you would like to know how to start blogging to make money and that's a complex question to answer :)

And it's complex because you need to understand a lot of things and be at least decently good at one of them.... You see, in order to blog for money you need to either know how to do these, or pay someone to do them for you, so either you invest money, expertise or both, otherwise you won't make money online with blogging alone in 2024...

These being said (and without knowing what exactly you know / are good at), the process is basically this:

1) pay for niche + keyword research tools / services like Ahrefs / Semrush / Mangools / SE Ranking / etc so you can find good niches and keywords to build your blog around

2a) register domain name (preferably relevant to your niche / main topic of your blog, and also preferably expired domain that's clean, safe and already has trust and history with google)
2b) buy paid hosting
2c) link domain name to web hosting
2d) install website on said domain name and spend hours customizing it to meet your goals

3) register with an AI content generator like chatGPT or one of the myriad of clones out there (unfortunately, I despise AI so I haven't got a clue which AI service / tool to recommend, all I know is that everyone left, right and center chants ChatGPT, ChatGPT, ChatGPT... so probably that's the way to go)

4) start churning out content around topics that are relevant to your niche, and make a habit to publish (or schedule your site to automatically publish) the content on your blog around the clock. Aim for 1-3 articles a day, but not more than this as google are pretty fussy about publishing frequency on new sites (which is one of the reasons for which I recommended that you buy an expired domain, if google already trusts that domain and the domain has a proven history of pumping out content like crazy you might be able to get away with publishing 10-20 articles a day instead of 1-3, but if you register a fresh domain it's best to start slowly but be consistent over months / years until you grow big)

5) keep an eye on your site's traffic and rankings and adjust as necessary, either by updating / improving the content that performs poorly, or doesn't perform at all, or by building links to pages that linger around pages 2-3 of google, or around the bottom half of page 1, etc...

Again, I can't go into specific details as I have no clue how newbie you are with regards to all of these. But even if I knew your knowledge level, I would have probably still not bothered with explaining everything to you as I would be here writing novels for days. It's best that you start digging for the truth yourself, I can only point you in the right directions, but you'll have to be the mule and carry the heaviest load yourself :)

So anyway, this is, in a nutshell, what you gotta do. But like I said, there are levels and there is depth to these 5 steps, and it's best that you learn them on your own as nobody will feed you all of the details, not for free anyway.

But some of these tasks (knowing how to install a website, or how to buy domain names and hosting and link them together, etc)... all of these can be learnt with a simple google / YT search (that's how I've learned them too), plenty of tutorials out there for them....

As for the SEO part, you can check out these guides that will clue you in on a few crucial parts of SEO (not everything, but some of the more important ones, such as):

More reading and watching and learning and (will this ever end?)... https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/2...resources-to-learn-blogging-seo-from.1482043/

I hope these will keep you occupied for the next week. If you don't go through them and absorb all that's important (pretty much everything lol) you're not made for SEO which will require your involvement even more than reading a few guides online. SEO is a long term commitment and not everyone's cut for it, so it's best to approach it with the right attitude :)

Anyway, enjoy reading / watching and good luck on becoming google's next victim!

I thank you for the information you have given me. When I say I'm a newbie, yes, that’s true, but I do have some experience in keyword research, building sitemaps, and creating backlinks (though not necessarily high-quality ones). In addition, I have an academic background in digital marketing, but what I learned was limited and not enough. Moreover, as you know, the SEO world is still not completely understood. I will definitely check the links you provided. Thank you for your time.
