Please i am a newbie to Search Engine Optimization ( SEO ) can you please give me a clue on how to begin this path. Your recommendations would mean alot to me suppose i want to begin with wordpress. Thank you.

Thank you. But i have an already working WordPress website and i am familiar with wordpress. I just need help on how to begin my new journey into the SEO career path

Thought you meant Wordpress first at the end but anyways the below seo guide by the admin should be a good start and after that you can use the search box to find other seo related guides

Get some certificate courses done mate. Why not the Hubspot academy for a start?
But in the end, no course will help you unless you do and practice SEO by yourself. What have you tried and done for SEO for your WordPress website so far?

Ubersuggest ( Neil Patel ) is good enough for beginners.
And then you need to experience all the practices.
 
go through the posts on this forum, watch SEO youtube courses or buy some courses from this forum for cheap.
bhw is honestly one of the best sites to learn, bunch of free amazing info
 
Look into udemy courses with free coupons to learn basics.
This tutorial should help you get started with WP
 
Start following the blogs of ahrefs and moz. Specially ahrefs. You will find plenty of step by step info there
 
Refer YouTube for basics and take course from reputed Trainer/mentor for advance SEO... Good Luck..
