Hey guys, I'm just getting started with selling digital products online. I was planning to use PayPal for payments since it’s easy and most people trust it, but I keep seeing horror stories like accounts getting limited out of nowhere.

So is PayPal worth using for digital goods these days? Or should I be using something else?

I know of many PayPal blockages that take months to resolve. The best option is a gateway that allows credit card payments.

You don't have a big choice, Paypal most trust payment systems for buyer's

PayPal is worth using and it should be ONE of your different payments methods for customers.

If you're planning to use PayPal for digital goods, just remember: you're walking on thin ice by default. They really don't like digital products, especially if you're new, unverified, or getting traffic from random places.
Just play it safe while you're building trust.

Thanks for the heads-up! I’ve been thinking about adding a credit card gateway.

That’s why I’m torn. On one hand, PayPal gives buyers confidence. On the other hand, as a seller, it feels like walking a tightrope...

it is a good payment method option.
If you need very old account, i have them available.

you need to buy an old paypal with transaction and verified one

Can be a good idea to also add Stripe for credit cards payment.

What are you selling? Usually once Paypal reach 2k at first time they will hold your account or payout until you verified it, how much big amount are you talking about?

Sorry for bumping this, just wanted to update since I’ve had a few DMs after posting. A lot of people seem to be having the same PayPal issues.

I’ve started working with a payment gateway recently — it’s only been a short time, but so far it’s stable.

If anyone’s dealing with similar issues, feel free to share experiences. Always good to compare notes.

Could you tell me more about your business and what exactly you offer?

Yes, it's risky. What's your niche?
Try not to receive too much money at once you’ll most likely get banned.
I recommend to gradually warm up the account or split the rev across multiple accounts.
Use antidetect browsers and proxies for each acc.
Using stealth accounts or cloaking could also be a good option

Those horror stories also occurs in other payment gateways like Stripe. If you are selling something in a black hat niche, you should use stealth accounts, temporary solutions.
