Newbie Question About Youtube

I have a question
If i want to target visitor from U.S, do i have to use VPN when uploading my video?

I don't work with Youtube, this is just an opinion, but I don't think so, I don't see why the VPN would have anything to do with the audience you're targeting.
Maybe it's different with Youtube, again, it's just an opinion, but when I post pins or posts, I use my home IP and still manage to target USA audience. That way, my content is safe (they can't mark me as a fraud or a spammer).

IP/VPN doesn't matter. YT is not Google.

it's all about the traffic, if youtube see that the video is been watched mostly by US visitors then it will be ranked better in US and get suggested more to similar audiance
