Hello! I don't really know where I should post this question.

I'm a broke student that want to make some money, I chose dropshipping and all my friends says that it's dead 2023 and was very hyped 2018. I'm in need of tips on how I can improve and get my first sale, I just signed up to shopify and I really don't know anything about dropshipping. I'm glad to hear your tips and criticism.

Bro..., you're gonna have to do a shit ton of research and probably need a budget for advertising, testing products, etc. Do you even know what you want to sell? no one is going to spoon-feed you, unfortunately. I have been looking into dropshipping for a few months but have given it a break for now due to personal issues. I'm not ready to handle the dropstress at the moment. So currently looking at other IM making methods that are less risky but eventually will get back to dropshipping. Definitely not dead but it's not easy. Good luck though
 
It's dead. I haven't seen a dropshipping store on facebook or instagram for a long time now.
 
It's pretty simple if you think about it . Find a product that you connect with and create a compelling ad which convinces a user to buy that product. Take other ads for reference , but never copy them , come up with your own angle on creatives and run at a minimum budget to see if its working or not. With enough time , you should be making some sales . Good luck.
 
You can check on youtube channel about dropshipping. Do a thorough research before going into it.
 
Understand the basics of dropshipping, Shopify, and e-commerce. There are many online resources and courses available.

Youtube is your best friend.

Watch videos and learn the ins and outs of the business.

You have to build out sites that look amazing and don't look like drop shipping stores. I've done millions drop shipping...
However don't fall for those numbers. You only realistically walk away with 20-30% after everything is said and done.
