Newbie Marketing Help? Events.

I realise I'm a newbie to all this, I used a program to mass add people from selective groups but now due to FB's 'do you know this person' this is dead as you will know.

I run a music event is a town and ideally want to mass add and market this to my audience within that town.

Anyone got any fresh ideas on how to do this? I've had a search on here before making this thread as i didnt want to repeat any previous questions but found nothing...

Could anyone shed some light on what they would do and how they would go about it?

you will need pva accounts then use software to add people from your area that is the way it can be done use very good proxies if you want this to work ffap is good for now

Thanks for your advice moneyrocks, could you explain a little more about good proxies? and how I would find or use them? that may sound really stupid sorry haha

Dood....I am a Music Promoter in the Palm Beaches and also utilize Facebook in varous ways. One I would create a generic Fan Page that encompasses an area. Ex. If your club is on a main street with other clubs make a page with that name. Search clematis Street (downtown West palm beach) next you need to focus on who your clients are and MEET them in person. that should take about 1-2 months depending on how good you network offline and online.

Outside of FB, you could put ads on craigslist, write articles and get them published on Web 2.0 properties, take out ads in the free "pennysaver" papers, use bandit signs, flyers/business cards on cars outside of other venues that have similar type bands, use a sign spinner outside of those kind of clubs for when people are entering and leaving via their car...
