Sharing some newbie tips that can help to understand and influence purchase decisions. If you're new to e-commerce, these tips might come in handy and help you get started on the right foot.

Social Proof
- Consumers are influenced by the actions and opinions of others.
- Examples: Testimonials and reviews on e-commerce websites, celebrity endorsements, social media influencers promoting products, displaying the number of customers who have purchased a product ("Over 10,000 satisfied customers").

Scarcity
- People tend to perceive scarce products as more valuable and desirable.
- Examples: Limited-time offers, flash sales, "only 10 items left in stock," exclusive or limited-edition products, early-bird discounts.

Personalization
- Tailoring marketing messages and offers to individual preferences and needs.
- Examples: Personalized email campaigns addressing customers by name, product recommendations based on browsing or purchase history, customized landing pages, and targeted ads based on demographic or behavioural data.

Cognitive Biases
- Consumers often make decisions based on mental shortcuts and biases.
- Examples: Anchoring bias (setting a high original price to make a discount appear more significant), loss aversion (emphasizing potential losses rather than gains), confirmation bias (seeking information that confirms existing beliefs), scarcity bias (attributing higher value to scarce items).
