Newbe guy from Florida USA

Hello to all,

I promise I will do my best not to be a pain, I understand the rules it is like all sites about posting ads etc so no problem I have no interest in promoting my sites here, it would do no good like all sites like this too try and post, so No problem with me. I just want to look around and see if people have the same issue as me about trying to get traffic to a site. I have fallen in to the trap of buying some traffic before maybe a few times and it always ends up a waste of good money, all I have ever had happen is I get Robots, yes I know they say Real Humans, well it is all BS. If anyone could come up with Real Humans going to sites they would get rich, but I don't believe any of that BS. I am at the point in the Internet World that is getting to be a place for BS, scams and just let me put my hand out to see if I can trap someone for money. I paid a guy a few months ago $450.00 too do some big things for me and all I got was some banner ads made up, hell I can make banner ads and he kept saying I going too get things going soon, well after 3 months of BS, I got my money back by fighting paypal because he had some kind of protection from paypal, well we produced doc's to show he did nothing and the bank got my money back it took 90 days but my money was returned. So now you might have a better understanding how I am getting tired of all the BS. I am a product guy not a computer guru, so to write a book here but just venting a little about trying to get traffic to my sites. Anyway, I will look around and see if I can find any good info that might help me, I wish all of you the best.

Thank you, I have a question for you, do you know if you can just buy a banner ad and not have to pay for per click or any other types of payment just have the banner there on a site showing a site address, I thank you in advance.

Looks like you have some learning to do. Yes some sites MAY charge you a standard price to show your banner but you have to do your homework to see if it is worth it. Not to mention you have to test your ads to see if they even convert.

Most of the bigger sites will charge by impression or click but the same rules apply regarding your conversions. You certainly will not get any guarantees of sales or conversions so don't expect to win a dispute if you throw your banner up for a fee and it does not convert.

Hello, I thank you for answering my post, yes I am sure I have much to learn about the net, like I said I am a product guy not a computer guy, all I want to do is get in the 100's up too 1'000's a day coming too my sites I don't care about getting or having millions. So long as they are Real Humans, no robots I have had enough of that BS. Again I thank you.

Hi, well everything is good, we all only live once so no big deal life is too short the young folks think they will live forever, I have a news flash for them you go too sleep on night and you wake up one morning and your Old, like me a Old Dog, I remember my Puppy days but they are all gone, so try and have a Happy day.

Hi, I thank you for the advice, however, i am not a writer I wish i could find someone that knows how to do that, I am a product guy, I have a very diverse back ground in product but not writing a person cannot be everything, don't mean this in a rude context but a person has limitations in life as Mr. Clint Eastwood put in one of his movies and I know my limitations, lol.

Another Florida guy... welcome.

A guy that is marketing products can drive traffic to his site using social media as well as SEO. There are, according to wikipedia, 7 zillion FB groups that are product centric as well as 6.31 zillion Twitter accounts that would welcome your engagement. On top of that the instagram and pinetrest groups that are product orientated is over 3.25 zillion.

If I had a product related site I would be looking in that direction for targeted traffic.

Hi, sorry to bother you but wanted to ask, do you know if people that run ads on this site do any good selling product, it seems it's all about computer talk and not selling regular product, like I have a name brand perfume site and I don't know if it would work for me to buy a ad on this site, I see they have 600,000 plus members and i think a ad is $30.00 which is a great price to get a site in frornt of 600,000 eyes ?
