To the people talking about the dollar and inflation... the inflation rate right now is only 2.3%, and that's down from 3% in 2000. That's pretty fucking stable.

People get so caught up in conspiracy theories sometimes, it begs belief.

Yes, I agree/believe the reality of the world is not all what we are told, but a lot of advocates go way too far in their theories. It verges on the absurd.

However, the dollar is still being devalued and the currency is still being systematically debased. It's not a conspiracy theory that printing more money devalues the dollar and raises inflation.

Take a food product and look at how this current fiat money system effects the price of it.

The farmer growing the food in the field will be borrowing money that doesn't exist and paying interest on it so the price he charges will have to reflect the fact that he's got to do that, so in effect, what he does costs more. Same with the transport company from the farm to the factory. Now the factory that's processing the food will no doubt be borrowing large amounts of money that doesn't exist and paying interest on it and it's costs and price will reflect that. Same with the transport from the factory to the shops, same with the shops. So by the time we put our hand up on the shelf and pull the product off, the cost of that product is massively inflated compared with what it needs to be because everyone along the line in its production is having to add a little bit to pay interest on money that doesn't exist.

Is that a batshit conspiracy? Absolutely not. That's life under a fiat money system. This is precisely why we buy 3 houses to live in 1. Years ago, if you took out a loan to live in a house for $50,000 you would then have to pay the bank back $152,000. I will buy 3 houses for the privilege of living in one and my mortgage payments will reflect that, therefore the pressure for me to serve the system, to earn the money, to service that debt will be greater.

A great question to ask when thinking about things like this and that simple question is - who benefits? Who benefits from us buying 3 houses to live in 1? For simplicities sake, say the house costs $50,000. The builder, who actually creates the thing and makes it a reality, he doesn't benefit from me buying 3 houses. He's paid out of the $50,000. The guy who produces the materials for the house, he's paid out of the $50,000. Everyone who actually creates the house is paid out of me buying 1. One person and only one person benefits from us buying 3 houses, sometimes more to live in one, and that's the guy who's lending us money that doesn't exist and charging us interest on it.

Many people here have commented against taking loans. Realise that unless you are born in a rich family, you will probably won't be able to start a decent offline business without a loan. Even if you do manage to start one, you will inevitably need one to expand your business. Multimillion Pounds (even Billion Pounds) businesses take loans to expand their business, you will not be an exception if you have a successful business.

Retail lending should not be made stricter since it will hurt worthy individuals willing to start their own businesses. Now if a person takes an unreasonable loan and spends that money foolishly, let that person live in penury. There's no need to feel sorry for that person. Worthy individuals should not be punished to save irresponsible people.

The 2.3 percent cooked inflation number is complete nonsense. That would mean that the same thing cost only 2.3 percent more year after year, which is nonsense and anyone can see it. Go to the store and notice the prices on things from a year ago, its more than 2.3%. Also, because its gotten so out of control, they have started trying to keep the already high prices for products now, while lowering the amount of product u get. Say a box of cereal used to give u 24oz of cereal and now only gives you 18oz. at the same price. Thats 25% inflation

The reason the official inflation number is so low is because they go and dont factor in food and fuel costs lol, as well as anything else they don't "want" to factor into it (ie would make it look bad).
Secondly they use the theory of "hedonics" which basically states that if u get an ipad 1 for 800 bucks and then an ipad 2 the next year with more features for 800, that its a factor of negative inflation, more "features" for the same $

As i said in my previous post, the rabbit hole goes so deep. And really, the more u know, its undeniable

There's a core inflation rate, which doesn't include food and energy. But not for a sinister reason, it's because food and energy are seasonal and weather sensitive, so are very volatile and with them included in the rate you don't get an accurate representation of the underlying rate of inflation. That's why the Fed relies on the core inflation rate. And the headline inflation rate, the one you're talking about, is only a couple %'s higher.

Never try to judge the consumer price index just by checking out some cereal in your neighborhood. Inflation is low right now because of cheap chinese goods, tech improvements, and decreased demand.

"Do i really want my screen name to come up with all these feelings and awareness in Google?"
The answer was of course no.
And really, is nothing else scares you or makes u go "hmmm", that really should.

All you have to do is read the news for 5 minutes to see we here in the "home of the free" are losing that everyday more and more in every way. And its up to you to protect yourself and your own interests, fiscal and otherwise. If you dont, in light of all of the information available as to how and why you should, its at your own folly.

The stakes in this game are too high, for u and your family, for childlike magical thinking.

The Venus Project, which is a real organisation operating on a 21.5-acre Research Center located in Venus, Florida, advocates complete abolishment of the current monetary system (which I don't support). They advocate a resource based economy.

After reading the website, it should be pretty clear that One World Government is the future. The real question is - which side is going to win?

One world government is going to happen eventually,but its not going to be for decades out. Even most of the people in my generation from all over the world still have alot of nationalism in them. Earliest it could happen is probably 2050-2060 when the people born in a world of instant communication are into government positions.

There is an elite,but everyone is making it seem like you have to be born into and that family lines are so connected. The elite are people with a good financial mindset and a determination to keep improving themselves. A person born into a 1% family can easily fall into the 99% if they are not fiscally conservative.
