Firstly, I'd like to say that I know that the Journeys section serves this purpose on a minute level. I'm aware of that and would like to counter that by saying that the journey section is more for personal management/promotion rather than direct method testing.

What I'm suggesting is something like this as a thread title/concept: [Method Testing - Spotify/Aliexpress Dropshipping Method Test]

I think that this would alleviate a fair amount of the "Did anyone test this" posts, as they could be linked directly to the subforum.

Most of the time, I'm focused on data and results, and I think this subforum would appeal to those of you who focus on the same thing.

Obviously, this would need to be fine tuned, but I could say that I would be one of the first members to test a method publically. It goes without saying that affiliate links, website names, and any other private information would need to be blacked out/blurred.

Would anyone else be interested in that idea? Feel free to vote on the poll/post here.

Would you suggest this for the open forum or Jr VIP?

I think this is a great idea. As much as I would love for it to be open to everybody (ie cheapskates like me), it does seem like something that would be fit more for Jr. VIP

Would you suggest this for the open forum or Jr VIP?
As a non-Jr VIP I´d still suggest it for the Jr VIP section. Some hot stuff, reviews and first hand experience is going to be dropped in there :D

The open forum is better because the VIP zone is dead and we all admit that.

The open forum is better because the VIP zone is dead and we all admit that.

1) The open forum is where people often post methods then a day later there are dozens of posts because the method is patched.

2) The JR VIP isn't as active with new methods, because people post them in the open forum, then complain when they are patched.

Experimentation and collaboration are two of the most exciting ways that groups can interact together, so it sounds like a great idea to me. If the VIP is quiet, maybe this would serve as a backroom hackathon-esque ongoing endeavor which could give some additional energy to VIP.

Best bet is then publicising to new people like myself and other non-JnrVIPS regularly publishing by watered-down versions/lite-versions of the methods being worked on in the VIP area - maybe quite broad descriptions of the kinds of areas and ideas being looked at.

ie. "Opportunities to combine x and y".. "Ways to mass produce p with k"

Personally that would be a pretty huge drawcard for me to get JnrVIP if I wasn't already. Being involved in method exploration in an environment where discoveries won't be nuked as soon as they're live on the public site would be interesting for anyone with decent understandings of IM and a desire to collab with others, but who are also still new.

I second this. This will only attract good (and the ugly one, which would be discarded by a mod in a jiffy) posts for sure. +1 to this!

Btw as for the open vs closed, I would vote for open. There are so many rocking members here who are not jr vips. Without their participation, this sub-forum would be dead.

People post patched stuff on purpose, they even say: "I don't use this anymore, but it works"
Such a LOL attempt to wash from the incoming fact. But still, this threads will earn a lot of engagement.
Benefit goes to the OP, and few replies under the 1st page (signatures)

Saying this, because I do not believe that this on purpose threads will end up in Jr Vip.
Even this last popular thread with Reddit (written with symbols) several members asked to move it to Jr Vip, and Mods replied to few of them, saying they need the OP request. OP saw it all the way, let time go, and came later to say: "Guess I saw this too late? Feel free to move if you think it's VIP material."

Why he replied like this? Because it is not VIP material.

Idea is still valuable, and it should stay locked in Jr Vip, no matter what.

Thousands of noobs, each year are asking what are benefits from getting Jr.VIP. They think, it's some mysterious knowledge hidden here and some secret circle with golden methods.

I paid 3 years for Jr.VIP but benefits are different:
-access to review copies
-selling on BHW
-HAF/WTB section special permissions
-signature

Hundreds of noobs getting lured here to see methods to change their life. When they come here, buuu, whole section is empty, only some review copies asking. (yes, I added few methods to this section) but probably only few members contributed something here.

Yes, I know, it can lower BHW income. So maybe we should make this section more alife?
Maybe some requirements for Jr.VIPs to contribute something once / year?

Jr VIP because I would be getting that soon :)

I agree with you all on the concept of creating the sub-forum within the Jr. VIP area. I just was initially unsure of how that would be directly received.

I have been wanting to breathe some new life into those forums(not that they're dead by any means). If this thread gets a little more attention, perhaps it can be done. I, for one, would enjoy being one of the first method testers with an active thread.

Side note: Those of you without JR Vip, I'd suggest buying it when you are able to. It's well worth it, especially if you're an active member.

I don´t think it´s necessarily to put all methods you tested into one active thread. I thought the section would be for people testing, for e.g. dropshipping. They could make a thread after some days, weeks or months and explain how they started, what they did, how much revenue / profit / loss they made, etc.
It´s not usual that someone starts several methods in a short time period, so in my opinion no need for bunching multiple methods in one "active" thread.

Are the Jr. VIP sections active and is it worth buying Jr VIP just for accessing them?

The forum contribution is worth it.

We're not allowed to leak what's up at the vip but let me say that's not even the biggest reason I contribute.

For the rest, folks will have to find out.

Surely the method test results would depend on how much effort and time ect was put into the method to determine if it works properly

I was referencing myself, saying my first thread would be active. The thread would be in a sub forum where any JR vip member could post a thread about testing a method with either their ongoing results or results that they have seen over time or previously.

To preface this, I meant to respond sooner. Yesterday was filled with things that required me to be physically present and AFK.

Yes, very much so. On top of all of the benefits from the forum already inside of the VIP section, you get free review copies from new marketplace services.

Agreed. Good call.

I think this is a nice idea but it is suitable for vip section

Agreed, would love to see you there!

Absoleltely. However, I don't imagine that a member/JR VIP would go to the trouble of posting in the method testing section for any reason other than results. I, for one, if this is made a subforum, will be putting in consistant time & effort into the method of my choosing and posting results publically.

Completely agree with this.
But in Jr Vip section.

Agreed. Would love to see you there!

We'd love to see more threads about testing and experimenting with ideas.

When it comes to new sections though, remember the rules that DD laid down:

Always happy to add new sub-sections. All new sections on BHW require 50+ recent (last 4 months) engaged threads* on the topic written by 25 different users (updated 2019 numbers).

*Please note an engaged thread is one with more than 10 reasonable responses to an OP of more than 250 words.

If you want to keep an eye out and gather the required threads, we'd love to look into this new sub-forum.

Question answered, thread closed.
