New spam filters from YouTube?

Hello, BHW!

A week ago I ran into a problem that YouTube started giving 18+ to my videos if the title contains such words like: CRACK, DOWNLOAD, FREE DOWNLOAD, HOW TO DOWNLOAD, HOW TO GET etc.

How can i bypass this spam filter?

If I change the name and remove these words, the 18+ tag will automatically disappear

Is there any connection between 18+ and "copyright claim" ? In all examples the algorithm can think that you are selling/providing something that isn't yours.

Nope, i got "copyright claim" for music, BUT i tested with video without sound and had the same result

I can try it, but will I be indexed in the Youtube search if a people write "DOWNLOAD" or "CRACK" without dots?

To add on this you can also try unicode characters looks like spammy/scammy. You should also make your thumbnail more eye catching.

So, i tried to write these words with dots, underscores and spaces and it worked! YouTube has removed 18+ and my video is indexed in search

i saw that too, those videos used to get removed for violating YouTube's policy on spam, deceptive practices, and scams.
now some of those video just get content age restriction 18+, looks like a bug in the anti-spam algorithm

Was going to say the same thing because I’ve never seen an age restriction for spam on YouTube before lol!?!

I upload same video with same title on other channel, I don't have this lol

All videos are the same 3:16 length. For the YouTube filter such behavior is as spam. Try to make different lengths of vids.

Just make some spaces between the letters. That should work.
