Have you checked the new rules for YouTube play buttons ? Now all channels will not get it even after reaching the mark.

When yoy reach milestone like 100000 subscribers , you get these play buttons.

They will not give to channels posting spammy content or if you got a strike within one year. Some more such restrictions are there.
