    Hi everyone,

This question goes out to all of the experts on BHW:

I've got a music forum that is brand new and I'm looking for the most effective way to land a good, organic SERP that will provide me with my first dose of visitors. When I contrast between other forums in the same niche, they seem to be doing fairly well. The site was just started 1 day ago, so of course it'll need backlinks.

What would be a way that will get my forum indexed quickly and to the first page of Google?

    Thanks in advance

Make a bunch of accounts on your forum and create quality/unique content.

Aim for long tailed keywords starting off and then backlink your pages.

    TheRealRazzy Thanks for your answer...

Sorry that I'm still a bit of an SEO newbie, but I'm still trying to determine where I should build backlinks. Any words of advice? - The forum is themed to Pop and Urban Music.

Of course you should build backlinks.

But I would focus on your content first. Build some quality content and then backlink the pages/threads.

As realrazzy said, create more and more threads and focus on long tail keywords. Once you got ranking for those keywords. finally you can concentrate on main tough keywords.

I see. So far this is good information. Can you possibly share with me any special tactics that you implement when building links and quality content on a blog or forum?

I've read several threads here and I get the gist of it but since I work so many hours, I only have a limited amount of time per day to devote to this. Every second counts for me.

Isn't there a download of a yahoo answers scraper -> vbulletin

Doesn't it also generate accounts per thing as well. Is that available in the downloads section or did a BHW member make it?
