We?ve worked hard on this much anticipated new version which addresses nearly every major known bug our users have reported to us. The aim of this version was to clean up all known issues in preparation for our next release which will contain some very cool new features and improvements. The most noticeable new feature in this version is IP Validation, where every IP our users receive is checked for validity, with good IPs automatically replacing bad ones. Each IP is checked every 10 seconds, and if you get a "dead IP", it will turn red within seconds and switch you to a new one. Automatic cache-clearing for both Firefox and IE are now supported. All functionality has been fine tuned, and provides much better support for Windows 7 with IE 8. Attn Firefox Users: We have a new Firefox Add-on. Click Tools -> Add-ons -> uninstall "IPRental Network Connector", then go to our website to install the new one by clicking "Get IPRental Firefox Addon". To upgrade IPRental to the new version, open your IPRental program and you will be prompted to upgrade. Any prior versions to 2.0.2.7 will cease functioning after Feb 3rd. faify I am still facing a lot of issues with bad IPs It has become a real pain in the ass to use IpRental... Even if I choose "rotate every 12 minutes" it's impossible to predict how long the Ip will last. Lots of Ips with bad connection, lots of dead Ips... Will you fix that? I got used to have two accounts with you but now I've left only one account (standard), as there is no improvement ;-/// What are your plans? Are you ever going to fix that? Thanks.
I used your service for a month and didnt bother renewing it. Nothing but issues. I would be given an ip set to 12min then it changed and a page not found was returned on the next ip. Then, due to your restriction, i was forced to wait x number of minutes before i was able to do anything (refresh the page to see if the next ip given was working) Most of the times i had issues with that too. So all in all it was completely unusable and unreliable for me im sorry to say. ... and when i signed up for your service i had to wait 2 day and after emailing you constantly to get access. So all in all i was screwed out of 2 days of usage which was not credited back to me. Then on the 30th day you cancelled my PP subscription and told me to sign up again because you were not using PP anymore, or something.
mikie46 They were COOL abt 6 months ago. I was SO happy with their service. The problem is that there's no other service like their's - for some my project I need a lot of Ips changing often (only not so often, and they shouldn't be dead). Now the users have no control over IPs, putting the very use of this software into doubt. Like you said - it becomes useless( I wouldn't even mind to pay $75/mo instead of $50 for that standard service, if only proxies are good (like they used to be in the past).
Ye well if your using this service for what i think you are using it for this service is not for you because it doesnt work.
That is great news. I really hope that you guys are cleaning out the used and abused IPs with very low quality scores. This would help out the ghost rates tremendously for CL I believe.

Regarding the "bad IPs", we just finished a project we've been working on for weeks that will help to substantially reduce the bad IPs. Our IP's are designed to be available within your pool for a fixed time. The EOL (End-Of-Life) on some of the IP's was not being properly translated on previous software versions, either by latency or a network error, therefore causing a loss of connection. We now offer the IP for the remaining length of time it's available. For example, if you select 12 minutes as your "Auto IP Switch" length of time, but an IP is only available for 9 minutes, it will automatically translate for you, dropping the "Auto IP Switch" time down to 9 minutes, instead of blindly dropping the connection and losing the extra 3 minutes. Hi, we severed our ties with PayPal last Aug/Sept., a lot has changed since then. We use Plimus now, which in my opinion is the best online merchant out there. Plimus doesn't hold Service Providers hostage like PayPal does. Our fraud rate has dropped from around 30% (with PayPal) to around 2% with Plimus. We also offer AlertPay, but it's not as popular. hmm.. tested and wrote to support. No improvement for me I'm trying to post at the moment; 3-4 Ips out of 5-10 are dead on average. again dead. that's crazy '0;-/ again dead ;-/ waiting another 2 minutes
Hi, I was using IP rental till last month. Used all form of support service phone, mail. I didnt get a signle reply from you guys. SO I just cancelled it this month. I asked for money back for Jan becos I never used due to lot of bugs and dead Ip's and no reply for that too.. Hope you have improved your support system too along with the software..
I purchased your service (6 accounts for 1 month) and didn't work very good. I'm not happy with your software at all.
@ faify i m using iprental. Its changes suddenly the IP, even if i SET the IP Rotate time for 12 mins, plz make a change on Auto switch IP, this option want to choose by USER end. If a user dont want Auto switch IP option then he want to disable it. Other then ur service is nice plz as soon as possible try to fix it soon. Thanks
