So business has been slow the last few weeks, winter is coming and in my industry everything slows way down which sucks. I have been brainstorming the last few weeks and decided to try something out that i see everyday.

quick explanation:
buy a domain (in my niche of choice)
redirect affiliate to new domain
print a few hundred coraplex signs (people like to call them grass signs/stake signs; the ones you see in lawns, on the corner of streets ect)
and then go about the city and stick them on corners and any other busy, high traffic areas.

Detail:
Im trying to figure out what niche to jump into. Im thinking the original "make money from home, second income" niche. or something to do with forclosures.
any ideas would be appreciated :)

As some of you know i own a sign business so the coraplex signs are easy and cheap. they will be simple &, easy to read.

If i do the the 2nd income niche i will make sure to put signs in low income areas. ect.

So if anyone has done this before, please give me some feedback, ideas or remind me of something im forgetting

what is the risk of those signs getting you caught and fined? I believe if you put them on public property you'll be fined.

so id have to block my whois? and thats it

they can find a way through it if they really want to :) And its easy, they'd have to spend some $ and time.

But anyways, not trying to discourage you. Its better to try than just talk. so good luck.

btw what state you are from ?

im in cali.

what if i did one of those phone number, pay per call deals

no other help? im worried that i will get in trouble now

I really like this idea and it is on my 'to try' list.

Please report back and let us know how you got on. Owning the sign business gives you a massive head start I would guess.

Best of luck!

I know a ton about using bandit signs to generate traffic and you should use a phone number in the process to generate leads and not a website because people forget a web address.

Go to CJ.com and see what kind of pay per call programs are available and choose one of them. Put the signs out on a Friday after 5:00 at intersections where there are traffic lights... stay out of the neighborhoods.

In my small town over a month ago I put out a bunch of poster signs advertising a website. The only thing that ever brought those signs down was the weather.

Haven't made any money from them in particular, but you definitely can if you know what you're doing.

thanks for the feedback. im looking into the pay per calls tonight and ill start printing and placing them 'strategically' around next week

ill keep everyone updated

Nice method...offline stuff is rarely saturated because of laziness of most people

What did you put on those signs, a phone # or website ?
How come you did not make anything, there should have been some very big mistake or not enough traffic was interested on what you've put on your signs.

I tried this on a big scale and lost a lot of money. The conversions sucked. Plus they can find out who you are if they really want to. Also someone got really upset at me because I was putting up phone numbers on the signs and talking on the phone while driving is illegal. They said I could cause some accidents or deaths by condoning people to call while they are driving.

Wow that sucks!

EVERY company with a billboard here in Los Angeles along the freeways must be getting "someone" really upset because they are promoting people to drive and make calls! LOL You cant be for real...

idk. im still going to try it. my niche is going to be Insurance.

Tooslim,

**** the haters and go for it. only thing i see around here is people will rip down the signs after a while but that's the extent of it.

oh forsure. im awaiting on offer approval right now
