I don't think so .net is causing a problem.
Alternately build some quality backlinks and run a Social bookmarking campaign. Use sites like delicious or digg, their are tons of other and bookmark them. If you have multiple twitter account. Tweet with one and retweet with others. Send some social signals that will really help you a lot.

If you're having trouble getting indexed do lots of social bookmarking on sites like digg as mentioned above.. Also, actions like tweeting your link(s) will help as these sites get crawled frequently so google will see your pages and ondex them.

ahmm... give it some time. 
just continue link building (slowly i do 20 a day all in all though tedious and booooring) google will naturally find it. scrape some blogs from yahoo and bing.. comment and give at least 1 comment link to your web 2's.
