New Google Updates - Dec 11

Google update becomes a formality now.

The updates happen so often that I think it's better to adjust SEOs to the ultimate goal of google - to satisfy the web surfers.

we have to wait for some time to know better, how it goes

But focusing on the update is ideal to understand how to manage our website better. If we don't focus on updates we don't know what's happening in SEO Google World. We end up with doing wrong work.

Just keep checking their information they provide; https://static.googleusercontent.com/media/guidelines.raterhub.com/en//searchqualityevaluatorguidelines.pdf

I think they mentioned they roll out about 200 updates per year, so it's kind of a daily thing.
But since I'm super white-hat on most of my projects, I only see things go up, which is nice.

Ask 50% of the crypto websites about June update this summer. Perfectly fine authority websites, no blackhat shit whatsoever lost 99% of their traffic just because Google decided that mainstream media should be ranked instead. Then at the end of September Google decided that June was mistake and rolled back the algo - crypto websites recovered. So being "white hat" doesn't mean jack shit.

True blackhat or whitehat doent matter site may loose rankings.

They need money, they push everyone toward ads!

It became impossible for any mediuem website to have the same rankings for over a year, always shuffling the results

And from 2015 to 2019, position 1 in serps seen average decrease in traffic 51% thanks to serps features + 4 ads withe their extentions 3 headings and 2 descriptions + people ask and sometime youtube videos

Number 1 in searches now is actually 7 or 8!

If no ones comes as competitor to google, then, everyone will have to move to adwords sooner or later! I know I did

I think Google no longer uses any algorithm at all, but instead is flipping a coin. Even if you flip a coin 10 times, you won't have 50/50 chances. Google is gambling and the shitty thing is that they own the casino.
If people really are annoyed by Google then they should stop feeding the beast :)

This is the state of play in 2019 and going forward.

For those who say they cannot rank on page 1, this is the competition;

50% of crypto websites are garbage whose only way of monetizing is by selling people with little to no understanding of GRQ schemes. So no surprise they got hammered. The only surprise is that it was only 50% and not 99% :D A ton of white-hat traditonal medicine sites also suffered in June, should I also be asking them if they think it's fair?

I am talking about massive, legit websites in the 500k-2M range with 5-10k referring domains. Their traffic got shifted to more traditional medias which was complete nonsense as who is in fact more relevant and authority source of fresh content, them or your local newspaper? Google realized the mistake and rolled this back quietly.
And you just reinforce my point. :) Being "white hat" doesnt guarantee that your site wont get hit.
