New Google Update?

My better sites have dropped significantly 50+, while my crappy affiliate sites have moved up to page 1 or 2 on google. Crazy changes so far...

We never have discovered major adjustments although generally there happens to be a large amount of fluctuating occurring.
 
I wish some of my damn competitors would drop from above me. Oops thats most of you :wink:

Google has been "trying to kill small business" from the day they started selling ads and became competitors with webmasters and SEO's. Every free click you get from their organic search is a click they could have monetized. People keep doing what MC says, all they do is become google slaves.
 
Some of my websites have dropped 60-80%. Others have seen a 200-300% raise.
 
I got a huge drop more than 80% of my traffic, serp drops on 25th of Aug.

In 29th I removed the redirected old domain which has previously spammed with blog comments.

In 4th of September I noticed the traffic to increase + serp increases but I still didn't fully recovered.

It's for sure a Google update to give the advantage for their associated websites like Amazon, About, Ebay and others.
 
I haven't noticed a thing over the span of 25 websites which I find odd. Has the source of the problems been pinpointed yet at all?
 
No, no source of problem - this thing seem to be so random that some of the people hit see this as a glitch.
 
My main site was hit. I was moved from #1 to #11 where I make almost no money. Hope it gets back soon.
 
Some of my clients have same problem. I dont know, i just do white but nothing good
 
I don't see a hit across the board. Some keywords move up and down a bit, but that is a common occurrence.

I've seen some other members in here complaining that their small traffic from Google got to 0 after 21 Aug/ 4 September. Check other threads.

For all others, any signs of recovery? I've read on SR that some of the people are seeing signs of recovery... I don't.

Mines weird. It seems like it's starting to recover for some of the pages. Here is an example (not my actual keyword)

Post title - Taking my large dog for a walk.
"Keyword" = Rankings

"Taking my large dog for a walk" = Not even top 500
"Taking my big dog for a walk" = 1
"taking my dog for a walk" = 50
"Large dog walk" = 10
"Big dog walk" = Not even top 500
"large dog" = 5
"big dig" = Not even top 500

Weird to say the least. It seems the same for all my posts.
 
I got hit. Lost over 50% off traffic. I have a partial match domain and that keyword was in 60th and no where now. And got hit on keyword I was targetting it dropped about 15 places. But up 5 now. Seen some improvement in traffic the last few days. Hope it continues
