New Google update - Very weird and unfair!

With the new update some of the sites that got barelly links and have been barely promoted got PR2 and 1 and one of my main sites that I was building hundreds of links daily just got PR1?

I also have bought some sites with PR4 that has about 2 links showing in yahoo explorer and it got dropped to PR3 but still has some PR.

I totally don't understand how google evaluates the site and gives the PR. Any reliable info would be appriated. THanks..

I don't understand either... I had a site go from a PR4 to a PR 6 and I did only a few things to build it and one went from a PR2 to a PR4 and all I did was build some backlinks to it in my linkpushing structure.

Explain....?

My sincere opinion is that it may not be so important to "get stressed" (not saying you are) over something we have even less
understanding/control than the "how to rank our websites," which many of us are still very successful at it.

I understand the concerns when the business involves selling the domains themselves or create a network for link-building...I do.

What we see day in and day out are websites with low or no page rank at all out-ranking websites with high PR.

Sometimes I think that they "tweak" so much the equations that they are not even sure of the outcome (large scale), which brings then another "tweak."

Heck they change the stuff every month on us so we won't understand.

As long as the rankings of your sites don't go down, which generally PR wont affect then it doesnt matter ( that is unless you are trying to sell advertising on the site ).

After all it is more about rankings in google rather than pr.

Page rank gets updated daily. Tool bar page rank gets updated once in a blue moon and is just there to yank your chain.
