It's funny when you think about it -- the idea of Google being at war with AI content, given that the search algorithm is itself an AI that has effectively spawned AI content and PAA sites.
How can Google possibly combat this long-term?
It would seem that their AI will get better, SEO AI will get better, their algorithm will get better, and so on, forever.
If they truly want to reward human content, I feel like they'll have to effectively roll back some of their own AI. Otherwise, AI content will win long-term because how will humans be able to keep up with these machines?
Eventually, it will just be machines talking to one another. The current iteration of the internet is doomed.
I agree with the people saying this won't make things better and Google just trying to reverse a shitty updat they did before.
Also they will only apply the update to English searches, so the English results are the test subject. Gonna be fun to watch. I have setup a few adult websites recently with auto generated and translated content, let's see what happens.

I can see the broad topic Q&A PAA sites being easy pickings for Google, but hopefully the more targeted and topically relevant ones will shine. But this is all conjecture until we see the shakeup in the SERPs.
What I do know for 99% surety is that during these supposed 'massive' updates at least one of my dead sites (I'm really bad at getting rid of old projects) will miraculously rise from the grave and start ranking again

Now they will have an update everyday. Just random reshuffle of blog rankings to scare bhw members.

I suck at writing good blog posts so I mostly take the help from AI Copywriting tools and the results were positive for me in the last update.
A hell lot of people talk about how smart Google is, but its not.
I've also been running a successful blog using Quillbot.
The only thing I wanna see is, Google hammering those big news websites publishing a post about everything that's not a news in anyway. Sick and tired of these big companies outranking hardworking bloggers.

It will be interesting to see how many AI written sites will gain massive traction from here. I'm pretty Jasper.ai will be watching closely and boosting when their AI written content comes out on top.
Honestly Jasper is a really eye opener for me as long as you don't auto pilot Jasper your content will look much better than if you wrote it yourself.
I think the new way forward will be AI assisted writing and Jasper and many other companies will start creating a workflow to help people write. One thank jasper lacks is proper direction and workflow.

Quillbot powered vlog currently sits at around 20,000 monthly visits. However, they site got rejected by Adsense and Ezoic so not much revenue.

I guess it's already rolling.. At least the results made me search for this thread. My main positions as far as I can tell have not changed but there's something wrong with the traffic. Small niche shop, not much but all hand-written content with no AI optimization. Hopefully a glitch in the matrix.

As far as I can tell, there's no keyword movement. Just weird drop of 50% traffic. I think it's temporary, but let's see. Anyhow, I don't see any other explanation for the weird traffic drop than the update rolling. I've experienced multiple keyword drops for one day in the past and you cannot see them in the traffic graph.
