Thanks its for noobs who think google is the god of internet and google knows everything so they'll purchase the domain hosting and everything from google so this is the benefit of google new service.
For people like we never had or we never trust google and there BS schemes .
But if google gets into hosting as well there could be reason to try and see if its benifits in ranking or boost the website in search results without any Off Page SEO.

Free WHOIS privacy from the same company you are trying to hide your WHOIS details from? With this they can easily determine which webmasters own which group of sites and penalize them for spam.
Although I just requested an invitation code, I won't be buying any domains from them. It's Name Cheap all the way.

Relax guys, this service is not for you, it's for those who TRUST Google brand name. Internet savvy IM guys probably make less than 1% of all those who buy domains. Most people even don't care if it's 7$ or 12$ for .com per year as they need only one or two.
